Wyndham Ocean Walk Resort - Vacation in Comfort and luxury - 1 BR Direct Oceanfront

Was clean and easy to check in. Had all basics needed.

Property was just fine nothing ti really dislike

Beach front location and view was amazing! The full kitchen, washer and dryer and space was great.

Bathroom smelled a bit like sewer like the drain needed to be cleaned and shower was not the best. The beds were very uncomfortable.

The amenities were great and it was conveniently located to the convention center.

Our host moved us without notifying us from a renovated unit to one that clearly was not. Countertops were old and stained. Flooring was old carpet. Bathroom needed updated. Unit looked clean on the surface however appliances, cabinets, and drawers were not. There was food and other items left in drawers and cupboards; hair, sand and uncleaned surfaces found in multiple places. I had to clean before putting our things in away. When I called the host to tell her this was not the unit I reserved she argued with me and said it was identical to what I reserved when it clearly was not. She stated she “ thought about calling” to let me know I was moved but decided not to. She was unprofessional, never apologized for moving us, and impossible to reason with. She also gave two different reasons for moving us so clearly was not truthful about why we were moved. Bookings.com also tried to help and ended up giving us some compensation for our inconvenience. Our hosts offer of compensation was that we could check out and find a different place to stay when we were already there and settled (this was offered our second night after she was contacted by Bookings). Bookings.com was very professional and tried working with host. Host was upset with me for reaching out to them. I would highly recommend OceanWalk as a resort but would not knowingly book a unit managed by this host. I want to make it known that any of my low number reviews were related to the host and not the facility as a whole.
