About this house rental
Beautiful country house with wrap around porch, outside deck to enjoy the mountain views.
4 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, spacious living room with cozy fireplace nook. Smart TV, and and stocked with games. Dining room with coffee-tea bar.
Kitchen has new appliances, fully stocked with everything you would need. Just bring the groceries!
Half bath downstairs off the kitchen also has a new washer and dryer.
Living room has fireplace, Smart TV, and games. Comfotable leather couch
In addition, we have an Outside fire pit and chiminea.
New gas grill off kitchen deck.
No Air-conditioning in the house. The rooms all have ceiling fans. The house stays pretty cool. I have curtains on the back of the house for the afternoon that keeps the sun from heating up the house. If fans stay on it’s quite comfortable. We have a nice mountain cross breeze with the open windows up on the hill as well. Always very comfortable.

Perfect to stay if you have a wedding nearby or family gathering.
Parents of campers staying at the many sleep away camps nearby can stay comfortably while they visit.
Close by white water rafting, hiking, lakes, boating. adventure parks.
Everyone will be in need of some adventure after this self distancing is over. Our house is thoroughly cleaned after each guest. Stay safe!

It felt like home!

The farm house was the perfect location for our family vacation. The house provided all the space that we needed for 8 people and 3 dogs. We spent most of our time on the huge wrap around porch. We ate outside but the dining room table was also large enough for dinner and family games. The rooms were comfortable to sleep with the fans running and windows open and the beds were comfortable. The town near by was fun to walk around. We had ice cream multiple times from Gravity ice cream.

We had 4 different groups from the same family. We were so happy with the wonderful porch and inside areas. We were able to be together or spread out for a moment of peace.We cleaned out the firepit next to the house which was a hit also.The only downside was the sheets are too small for the mattresses. We ended up the the fitted sheet off the mattress in several of the bedrooms.

Stayed with family. House is nice and spacious, well appointed, with fans in all the rooms. Well located, and very quiet. Plenty of room for a family to spread out. Will book again as we come to Honesdale annually. Great communication with the host.
