The host, Oscar, was very helpful and enthuisiastic. He provided me with good information about the neighbourhood and helped me carry my heavy luggage upstairs.

The property doesnt have an elevator and the iron stairs to the top floor are narrow and steep, if you have large suitcases or heavy luggage, it would be a nightmare to carry them up and down on your own. When I got thete, I did not get the quadruple room with kitchenette I booked, but a smaller room with only a double bed and no microwave or electric kettle (there was a fridge and a coffee maker though). When I realized the discrepancy and asked, the host only then told me that the aircon in the room I booked got broken that morning, so he swapped my room for the only good room left, which is an old-fashioned room with wooden window blinds that you have to keep shut if the aircon is on, poor lighting and a very strong damp smell, like in a cave. It was almost midnight, so it was too late by then for me to find somewhere else. I had to borrow a fan, open all the wooden window, turned off the aircon and ventilate the room for a few hours before the damp smell was less strong. Had I was informed earlier of that swap, I would have been able to choose somewhere else. I have mild asthma, so it was kinda hard to breath in that room. The host did agree to give me an reimbursement when I asked, but later told me to make a request to the app, which I dont exactly know how. So in the end, I still did not get what I paid for.
