We had a wonderful stay here. The property is peaceful, beautifully maintained, and surrounded by lush greenery. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and full of rustic charm, making it a perfect place to unwind. What truly made our stay unforgettable was the kindness and care of the staff. During our trip, I fell seriously ill, and they went above and beyond to help us. They guided us to the nearest hospital, checked on my well-being, and made sure I was taken care of throughout. They also arranged delicious home-cooked meals, which were incredibly comforting while I was recovering. Their warmth, compassion, and genuine hospitality meant so much to us. It’s rare to find a place where the staff treats guests like family. Thank you for making a difficult situation much easier. We will always remember your kindness and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful stay with exceptional hospitality. ❤️

Everything was great.

The villa is a lovely old bungalow and well-maintained by Dean and team. Each room has an attached bathroom and 2 of the rooms have a sort of attic-space with extra mattresses and a chair and lamp. There are many beautiful options to sit out in the verandah that runs around the villa and the dining room is comfortable with a large dining table and a smaller one in a corner. The kitchen and laundry facilities are easily accessible and Alwyn and Sushil are always ready to help with any queries! They also provide a great breakfast every day! Getting to the island requires a very short ferry ride and the roads on the island are quite well-maintained. All in all, it's a beautiful spot to spend some quiet time in.

(None of these are major problems! Just a heads up to make your stay more enjoyable) Given the greenery around, mosquitoes are inevitable, so doors/windows in the room must be closed in the evening to prevent mosquitoes and other small bugs coming in. If this is done there are no issues. The bathroom also needs to be ventilated during the day so that the windows can be closed in the evening. (We had a tiny frog in one corner of the bathroom one night. It didn't bother us at all, but reminded us to close the windows the next night). The bathrooms could be slightly better arranged to make them easier to dry (or just leave a squeegee in the bathroom for guests to use :) Finally, although everything is well-maintained and clean, a few small repairs in the old bedrooms would be appreciated, including a railing on the stairs leading to the attic space.
