Our room was a little outdated. No water pressure for the shower. The electric stove was really slow…

A peaceful place in front of the sea, so clean and accomodating staff, with a pool and shower, I'd love it. Breakfast full of delicious things to chose.

Our stay was perfect! It was so peaceful and idyllic with a beautiful private beach and sea view. The breakfast was lovely - Greek pasteries every morning with fresh fruits, cereals, boiled eggs and cold meats. The staff were incredibly friendly and everything was spotlessly clean. We had daily cleaning which was really nice, it was also only a 10 minute drive to Georgoupoli where we sat at some lovely tavernas enjoyed the night life. There's also beautiful beaches nearby. It wasn't touristic, extremely relaxing and exactly the break we needed.

This is a great place to use as a base to explore Crete from, it’s on the main road from east to west and close to two important roads heading south. Great for travel if you can book it at the right price. Also it’s very close to some of the best beaches and water in Crete.

Musela is a bit worn around the edges and tired. Breakfast isn’t available until 8.30am which is a pain if you want to set off on a trip early. This isn’t necessarily a criticism but the hotel is quite isolated so if you’re thinking of a resort type holiday book a hotel in kavros or Georgioupolis. Car hire is a must at Musuela.
