About this house rental

A bright and self-contained guest suite located in the beautiful town of Sooke. Start your hike right outside our door and enjoy the fantastic rain forest and wildlife the area offers. The suite is situated less than 3 km away from the town center with restaurants and shopping opportunity. It is a new suite and has a fully equipped kitchen including a selection of coffee, tea, hot chocolate as well as olive oil and basic spices for cooking.
Our guest suite is also a great starting point for biking as well as mountain biking, kayak tours, zip lining, whale watching, surfing or just a relaxing visit at the spa.
You will have endless opportunities for the best hiking in the world. It is a short drive to explore the area such as spectacular coast hiking in East Sooke Park or breathtaking Mystic Beach. If you want to explore the city of Victoria it is only a 45 min travel by car. Or you can just come to recharge and relax with a great book or a good movie on our cozy couch.
We are here to help you and make your stay unforgettable. You can also book your host for a guided hiking tour so you don't need to worry about anything. We speak fluently English and German. Your host Ines is Austrian and her husband Phil is Canadian. We are on hand if you need directions or tips about the area.

What a wonderful experience. The apartment is very clean and it has everything you need. It is located in a convenient spot close to a wooded area. It is a very quiet neighbourhood. The host left instructions for accessing the place. We will definitely recommend this to our friends. Excellent experience overall.

Nice upper level suite with one bedroom and small kitchen. Worked good for our family of four to base our expeditions in around the the Sooke area for a few days.

The suite was easy to find. It was clean and comfortable. The location was a good place to explore the Sooke area which has plenty offers plenty of sights to see and good restaurants. My friends indicated that they will recommend the suite to others as will I.

I stayed in this unit for three nights with my teenage son for one night. The hosts were very easy to contact through the entire process. I had a very busy schedule but did manage to meet Ines for short visit - she is lovely! The home is in a very nice neighborhood. There was a nice welcome surprise upon arrival! Thank you Ines! The kitchen is stocked with all the necessities you need to get started. It was an exceptionally clean and quiet unit. Comfortable, firm beds with very nice linens. I slept great! It is well organized with all the conveniences of home. I would definitely stay again if I go back to Sooke. Thank you Ines for a wonderful stay.

We can’t wait to return! The suite was SO CLEAN and new, very thoughtfully set up for guests. Had absolutely everything you could need. The trails behind the house were something we looked forward to exploring everyday- just gorgeous. Location was ideal for our day trips to Port Renfrew and beaches. This area is paradise. Do not hesitate to book this- you will not regret it!

Ines provided a clean and cozy weekend get away, that was a breeze to check in, and had everything we needed (and more!). They are close to town and in a quiet neighbourhood which made getting around very easy.

The host Ines was easy to talk to and helpful. She took me walking to a beach on the ocean. That was a treat. Very new and clean. The suite was in a quiet area away from traffic.
