OSLO CITY CENTER 3 BEDROOMS APARTMENT, MANDALLS GATE 12

This property was booked at the last minute as our original accommodation cancelled on our day of arrival. Our host was in constant communication during the stay and arranged for us to pick up the keys at Oslo central station, which was quick and easy. The apartment is approx 5 to 10 minute walk from the station and the location is very central. I do not think that the pictures shown are the actual apartment, although they are very similar (probably the same apartment building). It is ground floor with 3 reasonable sized bedrooms. It is very basic in decor and could do with some updating, however it worked perfectly for us at such short notice.

Some of the blinds had seen better days and we struggled to close one of the windows fully. It could have done with some simple furnishings to make it feel more homely.

Abgeschlossenes Wohngebiet in Zentrumsnähe. Einkaufen, Restaurants, Spielplätze- alles auf kurzen Fußweg zu erreichen.

Manches ist kaputt. Es wurde angeboten sich das anzugucken, während wir da sind, aber das wollten wir nicht. Manche Utensilien zum kochen fehlen, zum Beispiel Gemüsemesser.

This was a last minute booking and I was pleasantly surprised by the quick response and the great location. The guy who manages the booking manages lots of nice apartments that he offered to us. The apartment manager sent us lots of videos explaining the very particular instructions for access. If you’re okay with running around bus terminals to get keys it’s a great deal on a spacious apartment.

The host was honest and we had a nice stay, but we were confused when he asked us to pay on zettle instead of booking.com. All in all it was a little confusing but ended up working perfectly. Maybe this is normal in Norway.

The location is excellent, quiet, the Opera House is a 10 miunutes walkway.
