Cozy home away from home in quiet Trenton neighborhood. Home has 2 bedrooms and a full bathroom upstairs. Kitchen, large dining room, living room, half bath, and 3 season porch on first floor. Large fenced backyard, off-street parking. Close to shopping and restaurants. Downtown Detroit attractions just 20 miles away. Sporting events (Lions, Tigers, Redwings, Pistons), museums, restaurants, Riverwalk, and many more attractions in nearby Detroit.

Some things to know about the property. The home is over 100 years old. The house is located about 1.5 blocks from an active railroad that has disturbed some guests in the past. Due to the age of the house, there is no central air conditioning. Window air conditioners are installed in the upstairs bedrooms, but may not cool the entire house in a manner you are used to.

This is a vintage home in an established neighborhood. The floors squeak, and the doors stick, but that is part of its charm. The house is well-stocked, and the host is attentive and accommodating. The back door opens into a fenced yard which is awesome for people traveling with pets. The neighborhood’s proximity to grocery stores, fast food, parks, and quaint Downtown areas is very convenient. We will definitely stay here again.

The home reminded me of my mothers-in-law home in Wheeling WV. It was very clean and had everything anyone would need to stay. The beds were comfortable too. It was just an old squeaky staired home.

The house is an old home which comes with creakystairs and floors that were noticeable, but that did not bother us. The house was clean and comfortable. The beds also were clean and comfortable. We slept well. The care basket with miscellaneous items if needed was appreciated.We would stay again if we were to visit the area another time.

Stayed four nights to attend family events. Situated in a working class neighborhood in Trenton, this old house is a little rough around the edges, but was clean and served us well during our stay. There was plenty of utensils and cookware to prepare simple meals, and a surprising amount of non-perishable items left for our use. The a/c window units were not installed, so I can't comment on performance. Wifi worked great. Quiet with the exception of the occasional train. Great spot if you are comfortable with a little patina like we are.

So we went to Detroit for "Spring Break" to meet family friends from Wisconsin. Trenton is so quiet, and there were many birds in the private, fenced in back yard. The house was clean and cozy and the host was very good about answering messages. (Whoever complained about "train sounds" has never lived in a city before.) Beds were super comfortable, and the host had a lot of little toiletries and details to make the stay more homelike. The fire pit was ready too but we never got around to having a fire. Great host. It's about a 25 minute drive to downtown Detroit, but we thought it was worth it.

We were very warm and comfortable during our cold weekend stay in Michigan. Location was excellent for meeting up with family in the downriver area. The home is older but clean and neat, and it did bring back memories from decades ago! We enjoyed our stay and appreciated being able to bring our little doodle with us.

This house is old but well maintained. It had everything that we needed for our stay. Well stocked with kitchen supplies. The bed was comfortable and the shower was great. The window air conditioners were just right for room sizes. Kept the place cold. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. Location was near stores and restaurants. We enjoyed our stay!

The house was nice, clean, had everything that was promised and the property manager was so nice and easy to work with. My lone concern would be getting a boat out of the driveway with all the on street parking. Kristin was just a dear. I’d definitely go back.

This was a perfect spot for what we were there for. The neighborhood is quiet and seems very safe Plenty of stores and restaurants within 5-10 minutes. The window air conditioners keep the place very cool. I'm just sorry it was too hot out to enjoy the fire pit in the backyard.

Second time staying in this house and won’t be the last as long as it’s available when we come for our yearly fishing trip!! The bed is super comfortable and I the sheets were as soft as cotton! Communication with the owner is always easy and fast replies back. Location to the Detroit River is convenient, neighbor is quiet and feels safe! The neighbors were friendly! Everything was just perfect!

Nice, clean qolder house in a safe family neighborhood. Great backyard for the pup. Will definitely stay again when in the area. Train tracks are close but didn’t bother especially with fan in at night!

We came up from North Carolina to go Walleye fishing on the Detroit River and stayed 6 days. The first day we arrived was the first really warm day and the window unit ACs hadn’t been put up yet. Once I contacted the owner, she was there the very next morning to put them in! She was very nice!! If we come back I would have no issues staying here again!!
