About this cottage rental

View of the lake. Air conditioned & gas fireplace. Dining room seats 6 people. Washer and dryer. Master = queen bed. 2nd bedroom = double bed. 3rd bedroom bunks = double on bottom & twin top bunk. The charge per night includes 2 adults and up to 3 children under 12. Additional adults adds $20 per person for each night they stay. Gas BBQ, and a fire pit. Dine out front watching the boats go by. It's just a short walk for you and the kids to reach the playground, splash pad, beach and public restrooms. This is a smaller beach that boasts Volleyball nets (bring your own ball) and a handy snack bar near the pier. Just adults? Stay on the beach for dinner at The Wreck, over looking the pier or take a tour of one or more of the numerous wineries within minutes of the cottage. i.e. Paglione with their outdoor wood oven pizza's and gelato, or Viewpointe, named appropriately for an outstanding view of the lake. If you end up with a rainy day, take a 15 - 20 minute drive to Amhurstberg for some historic tours, or maybe check out scenic Kingsville for a little shopping and a selection of great restaurants. After enjoying the firepit you may want to relax on the front porch and listen to the lap of the waves. Pack light, we've thought of everything,

This cottage is perfect. Clean. Everything we need. Modern. Close to the park and climbers and beach..ice cream and cafe and restaurant within three blocks. Lots to see in the area. We love it and make it a yearly cottage trip for my daughter and grandchild and myself.

The description of this rental does not do it justice. There is a truly lovely, if partial view of Lake Erie, that encourages relaxation on the ample deck. Most importantly the mattresses are all comfortable, the shower head has good pressure, the whole place is clean, the location is convenient to the North Shore wineries and the hosts are LOVELY! It is hard to find a nice comfy place that is pet friendly and we so appreciated this one. Thank you Jeff and Denise Ps the photos do not show this but there are three separate bedrooms and the a/c works great. Overall very very comfortable

The rental was very clean and well maintained. Perfect for our family of five! The owners had thought of everything to make it a pleasant stay. The closeness of the park and marina was a massive plus for our family.y son and husband caught many fish off.the pier. We also visited the restaurant right by the marina.. The view from the house was beautiful! We want to return in the warmer.months!! Thank you for the great communication that the owner had!!! 5 star!!

We love this clean bright cottage. My daughter and grandchild come with me for a four day “girl’s weekend”. This year we also went to the Pelee National park and Harrow Fair while we were there. My grandma child is now 5 and it’s our third year. There is a beach and splash pad and climber within a short walk. A cafe for the adults. And restaurant and ice cream near the park. The first two years we did not go anywhere as we had everything we needed. Adding day trips this year is just a bonus. The beds are comfy and we spend evenings watching movies. It’s the perfect cottage for us.

This is a quaint, "clean" and hospitable cottage to enjoy a getaway in a quiet neighborhood with a Lake Erie view. A great choice rather than a hotel/ motel scene with abundant indoor and outdoor space. All amenities you need would need are there. Dinese is a great host. Try it out!

We loved our stay so much, my 7 year old daughter loved the beach and the park with the splash pad. Such a beautiful area, very quiet and very clean! I was honestly surprised with how well stocked the cabin was, they even had a Bluetooth speaker to play music as well as an outside leash to put your dog on. They have everything here that you would need, we really enjoyed the outdoor covered canopy and the fire pit. The hosts were very responsive and even checked in to make sure we were enjoying our stay. We will definitely be back!

What a beautiful Cottage in a perfect location! Walking distance to Colchester beach and splash pad.restaurant nearby also.bike rental nearby too if you are looking to do that. Nice quiet neighbourhood Denise was always easy to reach out to and was prompt to reply. The cottage was well stocked with everything we needed during our stay. Beds were comfy too! A little get away with two of our grandchildren and this cottage checked off all our boxes. Clean, roomy, very well equipped kitchen. Lovely front deck with a view of the lake and a great sitting area in back complete with a fire pit. Very short walk to park, splash pad and beach and restaurants. From simply pulling into the driveway, I knew that this place was going to be special! I’ve never been to a more well appointed lodging before. If you think that you have forgotten something at home....no worries, its there waiting for you. The decor looks like something from the front page of a magazine! Beautifully done. My family had a great time there making many special memories. Our time there went by too quickly. We so look forward to going back again and again.
