About this house rental
Bay front , big, spacious house, located in Ocean Bay Park, close to everything. All renovated, clean. Perfect location with Bay views. Nicely decorated, comfortable. It is 5 bedroom, 2,5 bath house, sleeps 14 people, AC, 3 flat cable TVs, BBQ, beautiful chef kitchen, deck, outdoor shower, washer and dryer.... . Great place for families as well as groups to get away for a weekend. The house offers you everything you need to spend a wonderful time on Fire Island. The place is cleaned by professional cleaning service.

14 of us stayed here, and we loved the big shared space, strong AC, and excellent location. The cleanliness and degree to which it was stocked (with garbage bags, etc) was just okay…beds/blankets were pretty bare bones. Overall assessment = basic amenities but well-arranged for a large group looking to spend a lot of time at the beach.

Great main room and location was good. The bedrooms need work, disappointed with them, they need some TLC.
The house manager was great, very nice and responsive to any question! A good time overall...

The property has a lovely view of the Bay and a nice deck. The upper level is large and open with large sliding doors. The lower level is dark and moldy smelling. Only one room had windows that open and no screens. There is air conditioning in each room which is a life saver.
The bathrooms are adequate. Great that there are three.
If you like loud music and a party feel, the restaurant across the road is raging on the weekend with hundreds coming in on the ferry.
More dish towels and paper towels would be great. Also cheap wine glasses would be a plus.
Close walk to the beach.
A great house for a large family or group of friends. It worked great for us.
The property manager went out of his way to help me with some party planning finding me a terrific baker and a special pan.
