Location is fantastic, with the main Thamel block only a very short 200m walk away, but outside of the really busy and expensive areas. 10/10. Khem and the rest of the staff are lovely and clearly motivated to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. We came back a second time after trekking cos it was so good. Nice view from the rooftop too.
Not as social, which was fine for us as we were already in a group. If you’d like to meet people at your hostel then perhaps there are better options out there.

Kalum at reception was very helpful for organising my bus onward travel, and my late check in. Good WiFi, air conditioning very good, very clean hostel. Only stayed 1 night for onward travel. Close to the main bus station to explore Sri Lanka
WiFi didn’t work in the rooms
