If necessary, we take care of rental bicycles or e-bikes. In winter there is a ski lift 5 minutes from the house. In summer a 10 minute walk to the outdoor pool. The next cities are the Wagner festival city of Bayreuth, the porcelain city of Selb, Wunsiedel with Felsenbühne Luisenburg, the beer city of Kulmbach etc. Bischofsgrün is a climatic health resort in the Fichtelgebirge with great hiking opportunities. The highest peaks are the Ochsenkopf - also accessible by chair lift - in winter with wonderful downhill slopes and the Schneeberg with many hiking destinations, rock formations etc. The white Main rises from the Ochsenkopf and invites you to hike with Weissmainfels with an intoxicating distant view.
