Apartment in gated community with Wifi and views of the pool and gardens

The apartment is in a large gated holiday complex and is in a good location being on the second floor and so having an open balcony. It's a great area and very safe for children but access to the facilities was limited while we were there due to coronavirus restrictions which was understandable but not ideal - visits to the pool needed to be pre-booked for example. The nearest shops, restaurants and beaches are 1 to 2 miles away so you definitely need a car but there are plenty of nice beaches within a 30 minute drive and lots of great places to visit (Mojacar, for example, is very nice). The apartment overlooks one of the main communal areas and, if you normally go to bed early, then you should be aware that it is noisy outside until after midnight. Every evening from about 10:00pm a large group of 20-30 children would gather outside, doing nothing out of the ordinary, just getting together and having fun, but the noise made it hard to get to sleep. Conversely at 8am it was very quiet and peaceful. We adjusted our hours, going to bed late and getting up late, which worked for us. The apartment itself was comfortable and had all the essentials but would benefit from someone going in for a day to sort out a few minor niggles.
