About this cabin rental
Our Lion's Den cabin is on fifty acres of pine woods in the Adirondack foothills. Lovingly hand-crafted, we cut down the trees, put them through our sawmill to make the wood and built the cabin ourselves. The property is secluded and very peaceful. We welcome our guests to hike our trails - winter, spring, summer and fall. We are back to nature and use solar power for the lighting in the cabin. As it is 12V, you cannot plug anything into the outlets. We use rainwater for our bathroom (sink, shower and flushing toilet). The cabin has a queen size bed upstairs and a fold-up full size mattress for extra guests. Downstairs the sofa bed opens to a full size mattress. A generous size porch makes for comfortable relaxation. Come see what the quiet is all about and why our guests love the off the grid experience!

The craftsmanship of the cabin was flawless. It was the perfect home away from home with unique experiences. We cannot say enough good things about this place. The host is very responsive and had everything we needed. It was very relaxing and nice to get away for a few days. We didn’t have great service in the cabin, which made the experience even better. A break from technology was much needed.

Wonderful back to nature experience while also having the amenity of indoor plumbing. Birds and squirrels to watch, campfire with wood provided. Ability to charge cell and enough service to get texts in/out if desired. 100% will be staying again. Rick was great, friendly and helped us understand how everything worked, but left us free to enjoy the property in privacy.
