About this house rental
Welcome and thanks for considering our home for your vacation. Please scroll down to the “ask owner a question” tab instead of the “request to book” tab. We would prefer communication before accepting a rental.
This is a beautiful ski in, ski out, luxury townhouse. 2,600 square foot end
unit, southerly exposure. Grammy Jay trail (beginner trail) is just steps
from your door and the village chair is at the bottom waiting to bring you to
all other lifts on the mountain.
Stand out on the deck and watch skiers come over the Grammy Jay
Bridge. Glance out the kitchen window and see the tram go to the top of the
mountain.
This townhouse has 3 floors, 5 bedrooms, 4 full bathrooms. You enter this
home on the middle floor. As you enter the front door, you step into one of
2 mudrooms with a beautiful slate floor. There are plenty of hooks and cubbies for all
your winter outerwear and shoes. You then proceed into the foyer where you will see
the open floor plan with hardwood floors. A large kitchen with granite
counters, fully applianced, and stocked with everything you could need to
cook a basic breakfast to a gourmet meal. The kitchen flows into the dining
area, a table that seats 10 which looks out onto the Grammy Jay trail. The
family room is situated at the back of the home with a large wall of glass
that steps out onto the large deck. A beautiful gas fireplace is the
centerpiece of the family room with a large flat screen television above with a Sonos
sound bar.
There is a large deck off the family room with amazing views of the mountains in Canada.
Also on this level is a queen bedroom that has a door
with private access to the full bath on this level.
The top floor has a king master suite. Ensuite bathroom includes: double sinks with beautiful granite countertop, heated floor and a custom shower with 2 shower heads and body sprays. There is a flat screen television. Also a sitting area in front of a set of windows makes a nice spot to relax when you want a little quiet time. The second bedroom on the top floor is a king with ensuite bathroom. Granite sink top and 5 foot shower. Flat screen television as well.
The lower level has 2 bedrooms. One bedroom with twin beds with access
to the mudroom. The second bedroom has 1 twin bed and a set of twin
bunks. The lower level also has a full bathroom with a tub shower unit, granite counter top double sinks, and a heated floor. Also another family room on this floor, a
great place for kids to hang out. Flat screen television with surround sound. Plenty of games are in the TV cabinet.
There is a mudroom with plenty of hooks and cubbies for your ski gear and
a boot dryer. Step out the mudroom door and you are right on the trail. Just pop your skis on and go!
A washer and dryer are on this level as well.
The townhouse comes equipped with all linens, pillows, towels and
blankets. Basic cooking needs like oils, salt, pepper, other spices…
There are sleds available as well as snow shoes.
There is a ring doorbell located at the front door.
This home can sleep a maximum of 11 people. There is WiFi throughout the house.
Jay Peak receives more snow than any other resort on the east coast. The mountain has excellent beginner through expert trails, and the glade trails are spectacular.
On the resort, there are 3 new hotels, 6 restaurants, a skating rink,
Clips and Reels (indoor climbing facility with an arcade and a movie
theater and mini golf) and a multi million dollar, 63,000 sq ft indoor water park. The
water park has multiple slides, double barrel flowrider, a lazy river and a kiddie play area. This facility has the largest bar on the resort.
For the non downhill skier, there is a Nordic Center located on the golf course for cross country skiing, snowshoeing and fat tire biking.
For all, there is a beautiful spa located in the Tram House Lodge.
Several shuttle buses can take you wherever you want to go on the resort,
no need to worry about driving!

I have been visiting Jay Peak with my family for more than 10 years. This condo is by far the best layout for a family ski vacation. The smart layout with a mudroom in the front as well as the back is the most convenient for keeping shoes and equipment out of the living areas. In addition, the kitchen is fully equipped with all the tools you need to make meals for a family. The location is perfect on Grammy Jay. The host is amazing, every answer to any question you might have is answered in thorough notes provided before and during your visit. I truly can't say enough great things about our experience in this unit.
