Spacious beach cottage with open floor plan on Sargent Island, walk through the back yard and you are on the beach. The surf fishing is great. Fishing, shelling, bird watching, crabbing or just enjoy the surf. Come put your feet up on the beach front deck with your favorite beverage and watch the sunrise while enjoying an unobstructed view of the Gulf of Mexico and Sargent Beach. We want to provide you a vacation home of your dreams, where you can relax and enjoy your getaway.

There are 2 security cameras on the exterior of the property. These are never reviewed unless there is a problem there.
Pet friendly. Signed rental agreement is due upon booking. $175.00 NON-REFUNDABLE PET FEE PER PET. CANCELLATION POLICY IS 30 DAYS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL. However, if cancelled within 30 days and property can be re-rented rent will be refunded in full. If only a portion of the dates can be rented stay will be pro-rated and returned to guest. DUE TO GUEST NOT FOLLOWING CHECK OUT GUIDELINES. WE WILL NOW HAVE A CHECK OUT FORM AT THE HOUSE TO CHECK OFF AND SIGN UPON CHECK-OUT. lf guidelines are not followed it will result in your credit card being charged and additional cleaning fee of $175. When accepting the rental agreement and check out instructions you are agreeing to this extra charge if necessary.

This house was everything it promised and more. Perfect location, spacious, clean house threw out. Checking in and out were very simple and communication was always quick. Hope to return next year for another amazing beach vacation

My initial sensory hit upon entering this Vrbo was 'quiet' & 'peaceful.' Windows are abundant in this Vrbo, ALL with great views of the coastal waters and nature. There aren't any homes nearby, I mean, there are neighbors, but there is ample space between the homes. We found everything needed in the kitchen to prepare the food we brought with us. The indoor and outdoor table seating offered options depending on the sun's angle and temp.

This is a beautiful home with stunning views, a nice large deck, comfortable sofas, a nice tv and good, cold a/c. There were loads of shells everywhere, which was really cool. My husband really enjoyed surf fishing and caught a lot of fish.
We had never been to Sargent Beach before and were a bit disappointed at the lack of beach there was near the house. If you wanted to walk the beach, you had to drive a ways until you got past all the granite stones. The mosquitos were horrendous some days, so bring a lot of bug repellent.
Our hosts were quick to communicate with us and give us updates on the weather as a tropical storm was heading in, Thankfully it decided to go away from Sargent at the last minute and we did not have to leave.
There were a couple of things about the house that could use improvement. The sliding door that you have to enter in is very difficult to open. A weak, or elderly person may not have been able to open it at all. There was a definite mildew or something odor, which we figured might be dampness from the hurricane that hit earlier this year. The microwave did not work properly, but after a lot of button pushing my husband figured a way to get it to work. The request by the owners that we wash, dry and put away all towels used was way over the top, in our opinion. We have never been asked to do that before and had to go buy laundry detergent for that, because there wasn't any there.
