About this cabin rental
Cozy two story log cabin located in “ The Land of Waterfalls”, this vacation retreat sleeps eight including two large bedroom suites and a spacious loft. A cathedral ceiling over a comfy living room with skylights and a woodburning fireplace. A fully loaded country kitchen and dining area, plenty of room! Smart TV’s in bedrooms and living room, loaded with apps such as Netflix, Prime, Hulu and YouTube TV… Outdoors? Relax on our screened in porch with fresh roasted coffee in the am or a story to tell in the evening. Walk outside to the second level rear deck overlooking our wooded mountain property. Enjoy a barbecue with our grill or the plentiful views of wildlife and our babbling brook! White Squirrels, Deer and other animals are in abundance daily on site!! The cabin is also located in a gated community called Connestee Falls, only five minutes inside the East Fork Gate. Here in Connestee Falls you can enjoy amenities such as an 18 hole golf course, full clubhouse with restaurants and bar, complete wellness and fitness center, pickle ball courts, heated pool in the summer months, lakes with fishing and kayaking, hiking trails to the giant waterfall and more!! Upstairs bed was extremely comfortable. Beautiful scenery & wildlife. Recliner in living room needs to be replaced. Everything else was great!

Just like the other two times we stayed, we had a great time. The house is a perfect spot for a vacation. We’ll be back!

Where to begin... The pictures do not do this cabin justice. It is so warm and lovely and spacious! John and Tracey were fantastic to work with. They responded quickly to any questions or requests. Our family of 5 - 2 adults, 16 yr old boy, 14 & 10 yr old girls - LOVED it! The kitchen was the very first kitchen we've come across where it really was completely stocked! Everything we needed was there, pots, pans, peelers, waffle iron - you name it. Just in case anything is missing - there is a Dollar General just up the street - very convenient! The dining area just off the kitchen was perfect for family meals. The loft was perfect for our 2 girls and our son loved having his own room downstairs while we took the master upstairs. The only issue we had was that you definitely can hear people walking upstairs when you are downstairs - but its a wood cabin so that is to be expected. We loved using the fireplace to make our nightly smores while we all fit on the sofa to settle in for a movie on the large TV. The neighborhood was lovely, and while we generally like to be a bit more "secluded" - it didn't matter that there were neighbors to the side because there was no one behind us - except for a cute creek. Also, there are miles of trails within the community for hiking! We have stayed in many "cabins" in GA and NC and this will go down as one of our favorites! Kids are already asking to go back (as are the dogs)!
