Amazing experience!

It was a great experience and the host was extremely accommodating. The facilities were great and had everything we needed! We certainly loved the farm animals! Very close to nearby attractions too. Very peaceful stay!

Cozy, friendly, quiet

What a brilliant idea to have the little huts with a separate WC building with each hut having its own WC. The farm location was stunning. Taxis were easy and affordable to nearby restaurants, pubs, etc.

Brilliant little get away spot

I was very impressed with these little beauties. I've never stayed in a shepherd's hut before and was working with a colleague for a day nearby. These were amazingly clean, cozy, and in a lovely spot. Each has it's own private bathroom with warm showers, toilet and sink. Feel asleep to the sounds of nature and had the best nights sleep in a long while. Easily fit me in the bed (6 foot). Nice double seated interior table. Just all round great. I would definitely return and stay again.

Perfect stay in a lovely quiet location!

Perfect, just what I needed, somewhere to stay overnight for work but without the business of a city centre hotel. Great room/pod, bathroom was nice and clean and staff very friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be booking again!

Quiet and peaceful!! Very comfy!! Few nice restaurants around but a drive away. We didn’t have the best weather but on a summers day would be amazing

Beautiful setting in a great location.

The setting is really great & the location can’t be faulted. You have your own washroom/toilet facilities which is a real plus. You are in beautiful countryside & yet a hop, skip & jump from the facilities in Stoke-in-Trent. It’s a fabulous place to stay if you want to be near the city but in peaceful surroundings. Very handy for Alton Towers, the Pottery museums, the two football clubs etc., etc. Breakfast at Jackson’s Nurseries was spot on & a highlight was the evening meal at the Stafford Arms in Bagnall, a really pretty village just down the road from Holly Grove.

Honestly, there is nothing not to like, it’s spot in for a glamping site.

Perfect quiet setting, beautiful countryside all around; the facilities themselves were absolutely brilliant. The private bathroom was immaculately clean and modern. The glamping accommodation itself was so quaint and cosy, right down to the smallest detail, like the matching dinner sets with sheep design. The bed was extremely comfortable and the decor was so inviting and homely. Would definitely return 👍

Great overnight for a double day trip to Alton Towers.

Our stay was above what we expected and can’t wait to return.

The shepherd huts are very well maintained super comfy have everything you need to make your stay fabulous the shower/ bathroom is excellent couldn’t ask for anything more. There’s a fire pit and barbecue for you to use if you wanted too.

There is nothing else you can do with this property it’s just excellent.

We absolutely loved our stay here, it was warm, cosy, comfortable and very clean and tidy. Beautiful setting and lovely accomodation, we would definitely stay here again. We especially liked the private shower rooms allocated to eat shepherds hut, very nice touch. These where also exceptionally clean and well kept.

A lovely stay.

It was lovely and quiet with just sounds of the countryside. The Shepard's hut was very spacious for us and the bed was comfy. Fridges were stocked with some prosecco, water, milk and some chocolate which was a nice touch. Would come back again.
