A good location in the centre of lovely Kirkby in Lonsdale.

The cottage is described well on the website, although the entry archway is quite tight and great care is required if you drive a biggish car. We enjoyed using the kitchen, dining area and lounge. The TV is good, although we didn't watch much of that as there is so much to do in the lovely town and surrounding countryside. Walks from Kirkby are safe and very interesting including Devil's Bridge and the River Lune.

The only things we thought could be improved are the bed linen and the mattresses which, in our opinion (four of us in the party), are ready for a bit of updating. However, everything was very clean. Also having to bring our own bath towels was unusual and the only stay we have ever had to do so. Otherwise the bedrooms are well laid out and spacious. Again, TV's are in the bedrooms but we didn't use them.

Lovely cottage with all the home comforts you could wish for. Kitchen very well equipped. Shower super. Jackie is an excellent host.

Everything...central location, beautiful warm comfortable pretty cottage. Beautifully decorated & very clean. Parking was available through a small arch our family car fit with wing mirrors in. So many lovely pubs & shops a hop skip and a jump from the cottage

Location of Cottage is ideal. Warm & Cosy with homely feel.

Not as clean as we had expected, Kitchen did not feel like it had been cleaned thoroughly, with previous guests crumbs in Fridge/Freezer, Cutlery drawers & Oven. Lamp Shades in Middle Double Bedroom were extremely dusty. Nice touch leaving Biscuits for your guests, but unfortunately, these were well out of date Oct 2020. No Bath Towels provided, which the host did notify us, but not sure why they are not provided & also guest need to strip all bed sheets & duvets before checkout

Gorgeous stay!

Owner Comms are amazing, location is fabulous, cottage is so cosy with lots of social space and comfortable seating. Beds in the two main rooms were lovely and the showers/ bathrooms were great! Access to property easy and parking space was very handy!!

The two single beds were a little short for two tall teens but did not detract from the property or our stay x

The location was great. Facilities provided a home from home feel. The hosts had taken very thorough planning in providing extra little touches to ensure a great stay.

Access via the arch for parking outside the cottage. We were given plenty of warning & having visited Krikby Lonsdale before we know where to park

The access to the parking was hard but we were aware of this before our trip and there isn't anything more that the hosts could do about this in a property that has been in situ for at least 100 years.

Perfect cottage in beautiful Kirkby!

The cottage is simply lovely, very welcoming and has everything to make your stay perfect. Kirkby Lonsdale is one of my favourite places and we generally visit 3 or 4 times a year. The location of this property is fabulous and I hope to stay there again on our next visit, highly recommend!!!
