Villa Suspiro del mar is a spectacular five bedrooms luxury beachfront villa in the Dominican Republic, located inside the prestigious gated community Sea Horse Ranch with it’s additional own private gate,, . This fascinating house is located directly in front of the sea, have a private sandy beach and it is within minutes to three beautiful beaches.
Enjoy the mixture of styles desings due to being the home of a doctor who has lived on 4 continents and the exuberant colors, the furnishings and décor offer a fresh and unique interpretation of his life experiences.
Guests are welcomed in a dramatic foyer to 35 feet wood beamed ceilings. Just beyond, the elegant living room is inviting to feel at home away from home with its overstuffed furnishings.
Everyone knows how inspiring the ocean is, but this villa has some of the most idyllic spots to just sit and watch the ocean sunset ! See picture of even from the bench, the bonfire area, the wooden and flagstone paths., hough a picture cannot do this spot justice! with the waves hitting the reef and forming beautiful rainbows throughout the day.
The expansive living room has a dining table that seats eighteen and an impressive ocean view, which opens directly to the terrace, tropical garden, and large infinity pool. The ample covered terrace offers aqua sea views, 2 sitting areas and 2 dining table for 10 each, a large open space to relax, entertain and enjoy the ocean breeze.
The spacious beachfront master bedroom opens to an Ocean front Terrace with large glass doors on both sides that give a convenient access to the beach on one side and to the pool on the other side.
Designed to give absolute privacy when a guest wishes, all rooms have direct beach access from their balconies.
Ideal for four families with children or for up to five couples.
Our concierge service will ensure a premier vacation in the Dominican Republic and is happy to facilitate a memorable travel experience whether it’s introducing guests to the hidden treasures of local beach towns of Cabarete and Sosua, arranging for a personal chef, spa services, a hired car and driver, nanny services, or making restaurant recommendations.
Villa rental includes, full time staff who will prepare a "continental style" breakfast daily with coffee, fresh fruits and fresh juices.

The design and layout of the house and its position on the water is spectacular. Everyone ranging from my eleven-year-old daughter to my parents were excited when we arrived.
The house makes it very comfortable to be together as a group and has plenty of scenic spots where you can retreat to read a book. Everyone spent time together and alone sitting on the benches on the rocks overlooking the water watching the waves roll in. Inside, the house is well-furnished, has dramatically high ceilings, contains a generous amount of eclectic art and is very well-kept.
There is a staff, led by Raquel and Alex that was incredibly attentive and arranged for an onsite chef to prepare our meals and make sure we had everything we needed. The food was excellent and my mother told me it was the most relaxing holiday that she’d ever had.
Raquel helped us organize surfing, golfing and horseback riding nearby and explained how to navigate the beach.
We’ll be back!

The position of this villa is perfect. Right on the coastline, with a wonderful view of the adjacent beach. There are very few properties on the coast/beach in Sea Horse Ranch.
We were looked after extremely well by Raquel, Alex and the rest of the team. Nothing was too much trouble, but they very much respected our privacy. Booking of restaurants and taxis also made life much easier.
The photos don't do this place justice. There are numerous outside areas to sit and relax - loungers, chars, sofas, cold tub, benches, all with different views.

The property was fantastic. We all enjoyed our stay at this property. The host was very attentive and sweet. The staff was super friendly and went above and beyond. The house is just breathtaking. Great size house and pool. Very clean!!

Our stay at the Sea Horse Ranch villa for a family vacation was nothing short of spectacular. We were able to get 3 generations, fourteen, of our family together for the trip of a lifetime. No detail is overlooked here, from the incredible decor, the infinity pool with breathtaking views, plenty of bikes to explore the community, and last, but certainly not least, the wonderful staff of four. Upon arrival we were greeted by the staff with tropical drinks and instantly felt like we were at home. We opted to pay additional to a chef to cook breakfasts and dinners. We selected six meals from a menu of 20 options and Fransico did not disappoint.
Once we rented the home, Raquel, texted us to ask if we need help with transportation from the airport, she arranged a small bus for our large party, asked if we wanted to organize rental cars, chef services, and activities. Her communication, response time and customer service were exceptional. Thank you Raquel and Alex.
The house is a 10 minute drive from Cabarete where you can enjoy dinners on the beach, mojitos at a number of waterfront restaurants, or attempt to learn how to kite board and surf. In addition to Cabarete there are a number of excursions like horse back riding on the beach, our favorite was the caves, where we gained a future son in law, with a proposal to our daughter. Upon arrival back to our villa the staff was so excited by the news it felt like they were part of our family as well. If you have made it this far through my review and are still reading, I would suggest just going ahead and reserve the villa for your trip, you won't regret it!
On a side note, my 79 year old parents joined us on the trip. Two days before we were scheduled to fly out of the USA to DR, my mother called to inform me her and her husband were regrettably going to cancel the trip due to the US State Department warnings and internet stories of tourists being robbed. Fortunately, we convinced her and her husband to stay the course and they made the trip and they had a wonderful time. We felt extremely safe at all times, went out to the bars in Cabarete three nights and no one in our partly had any issues. As a traveler who has travelled to a dozen Central and south American countries, I found DR surprisingly clean. literally zero trash on the roads, parks and beaches, which is a chronic issue in all other Latin countries. We are defiantly planning on a return trip to DR and this home.
