About this house rental
Full home, practical, big & beautiful. Large, quiet garden in the back with three patio's catching the sun throughout the day. Large kitchen that projects into the garden. Garden is very private. Views from top floor bedrooms. Bus stop in front of house. Near Amsterdam, Haarlem, beach and Keukenhof. 6 Bikes for free for guests. Only 25 bike minutes to Formula 1 races. Parking for 4 cars. 3 minute walk to shops, Amsterdam 20 minutes by car and 30 minutes by train. 20 minutes from Schiphol airport. We have been hosting for years with a 4.9 star rating and over 200 reviews with another well known rental site. We have used the proceeds from VRBO to invest in sustainability, in particular solar panels and heat pumps. Results? Our natural gas consumption has dropped by 85%.

We had a wonderful stay in this large, well-maintained, house conveniently located near the town's main shopping street and not far from the train station. The roomy kitchen and its airy extension into the garden, and the generous supply of bicycles, were particularly appreciated.

This home was lovely! Immaculate and very comfortable for 7 of us. Peter and Nanda are gracious hosts and left a gift basket of local snacks.The town of Heestede is great, walked to shop, dinner and ice cream. Easy to get into Amsterdam with public transportation.

Peter and Nanda were exceptional hosts- friendly and welcoming and very responsive to my questions. The house fit our group of 8 very well with close access to the bus line and many shops and restaurants nearby. Having bikes available was a huge bonus, and we made use of them on trips to Zandvoort, Haarlem, and more. Heemstede is a lovely little town close to Haarlem and Amsterdam. Highly recommend this property and would stay again if I can get back to Hstede.
