Not what we expected

The location was good. The size was very good although the room layout was a little funky. There are two baths located in two or the three bedrooms. The people staying in the third bedroom would need to pass through one of the bedrooms to use the bathroom. It’s not a show stopper but something you should be aware of.

It was not clean. It was clear the place wasn’t checked since it was last cleaned. If it was they didn’t look hard. There were dead cockroaches, one in the master bed, your feet would get dirty walking barefoot. The bathrooms and kitchen were wiped down just fine. It just needed dusting and mopping. We suggested to the management to change the ceiling fan out in the living room, light fixture in twin bedroom, replace the toilet seat in the master bathroom. It short, if they would just do a thorough cleaning top to bottom it would be a good for your value peace.

Superb

It was more of a VRBO as opposed to a bed and breakfast, kitchen was well stocked with dish cutlery etc. We enjoyed the covered front veranda and the garage was nice as we could leave our motorcycles under cover for night.

A dishwasher would have been nice as we did eat a lot of our meals at the house but certainly not a deal breaker

The porch is awesome. Everything was very clean and having water, coffee, extra blankets and all amenities was nice.

The coffee pot didn’t work. the bathrooms are not accessible to all. would prefer curtains that are not see-through.

Convenient for a weekend stay in FBG

stocked really well--I'd only suggest some coffee flavors, like vanilla extract, almond extract, etc... The porch on front is nice.

Front bedroom needs blackout curtains... the car lights from the busy street make the room not dark enough. I didn't like that there was not a bathroom accessible outside of a bedroom. Those who slept in the bedroom without a bathroom had to disturb another bedroom to get to the bathroom.

overall the property was nice and it was very clean

close to Main Street and vineyard, private bath in 2 bedrooms

close to street made it noisy in the morning. no dishwasher so no guarantees that dishes were fully sanitized. we originally were going to have 3 couples stay there, not suitable as there was not a hallway bathroom that could easily be shared, works well for 2 couples or couples with kids.

We had a cousins getaway in November and really loved this place. Great location and plenty of room. I would highly recommend it for a Fredericksburg trip!

We didn't get any Breakfast, The location is good if your a heavy sleeper, With the Whataburger across the street it was kinda noisey
