Three Houses Toledo

The apartment is in an outstanding location right in the heart of the Spanish Quarter, allowing us to experience the true atmosphere and wonderful community of Naples. There are countless fantastic restaurants, cafés and bars just steps from the front door, so we were truly spoilt for choice every day. It is also perfectly positioned for exploring the city on foot, with the waterfront, ferry port, train station and many of Naples’ main attractions all within easy reach. The apartment itself was spacious, modern, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Christina was an exceptional host, keeping in regular contact throughout our stay with excellent communication and making sure everything was perfect. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Naples

Don’t judge the entrance when you get there, it’s lovely inside. We had no problems.

The apartment is in good repair , sheet and beds were comfortable , close to some good restaurants . Our host was very communicative, she helped us with our outward taxi to the train station thank you for that it was a blessing !!! though it was expensive, the taxi meter read 16 euros at our arrival to the station but the taxi driver started adding extras to the meter reading on a piece of paper that brought it up to 25 euros so he gave himself a 9 euro tip. But we felt it was just the way of Naples we were just glad he turned up outside the building on time . Our mantra was this is the way of Naples ,,, we kept saying that during our 5 days there . Most of the people are very welcoming and really wanted to help .

Ok just to be on the honest side we had a hard time finding the apartment , Google Mapping is lousy in Naples especially the streets on the mount due to I’m guessing googles inability to get to the many side alleys and streets. We also fell fowl to the rip off taxi driver that left us off 1.5klms from the apartment . The building like most in that area is pretty dilapidated on the outside but I must say the apartment itself was very well put together . It is up a hill so not an apartment for people with mobility issues . We read that there was a newly installed elevator indeed there was though and I know it seems a little petty but you had to pay 20cents each time you used it , plus the key fob you had to use was a bit finicky I’m guessing the 20 cents was to recoup the install and running cost. I had the upstairs bed it was comfortable but a couple of nights the neighbor’s were having a domestic so pretty noisy and I was wearing ear plugs, it is in the middle of the city so we expected that somewhat . Again mobility issues this apartment is for people who can climb narrow stairs or at least 2 out of the possible 4 that could share it . Just to say we enjoyed our stay with a few caveats .

Location is perfect, very close to Toledo. The neighborhood is also safe, Air Condition is very efficient and the host is incredible- very helpful and caring.

It was supposed to be a 2 bedroom apartment with 2 beds- in fact it is a one bedroom apartment with 1 bed and an entresol/mezzanine with a sofa bed that has an internet router next to your head making sleeping harder than it should be. There is no privacy between those “rooms”. The apartment is also very dark with poor sight from the window. The bathroom could use a renovation, together with a wardrobe that barely opens. Washing machine has a distinctive smell- not recommended to use.
