The location and the view from balcony
Toilet is cold, the place is dusty, closet is dirty and disorganised, beds are not comfortable.

Incredible location, fabulous views, but desperately in need of modernising and fixing.
Old, tired and shabby. Broken dining chair. Dirty blinds thick with dust. Curtains damaged, kitchen bin lid broken, fire broken, armchair leg rest was buckled, bedroom tv ancient, and so on. TLC lacking.
We’ve stayed in 20+ places across NZ and this was by far the best views but not worth the money given other issues. We’re ok with old and quaint IF it’s clean and working. The place has fabulous potential, being in one of best places in Hanmer Springs, if only someone cared to make some effort.
