Shower enclosure leaked & basin waste slow to drain

Everyone so friendly and helpful. Beautiful location and pool was lovely to cool off in. We had been worried about it being hot at night but the aircon in living room and fan in second bedroom was plenty, added to the breeze and elevation from the coast (which also gives a great view!). Perfect location to explore the beaches and coast of Northwest Sicily as well as Palermo and some wonderful towns and temples.

Very twisty road leading up to house and some small local roads are pot-holed badly so beware! This all explains though why the hosts kindly meet you in Castellammare and lead you up to the house the first time!!

The swimming pool area and views were gorgeous Location was very good to drive to all the major towns The main bedroom and bathroom were very nice and modern

The seperate annex was crawling with bugs and there were not even any plates or cups down there for a cup of tea or the hob we could not get to work. Also the shower area was quite untidy so this part for two guests to stay in was not nice. The crockery and cooking facilities in the main kitchen were below standard for 7 people. Tiny chopping board, terrible knives for eating and not enough cooking utentials or crockery to cook a meal in the dinner. We like cats so this was Ok but they were there constantly day and night so guests should be warned about this The driveway is very steep to come in and out and took a lot of practice
