Amazing comfy glamping

This glamping location was excellent, we were really pleasantly surprised by the level of comfort of our little house.

Don't trust the waiter in the restaurant, the entrances are huge, delicious but enormous. Share one if you are two people.

Great with smaller kids! Lovely scenery!

Small cozy place - brilliant for smaller kids. The kids can run around on their own as the shore line is fenced. The scenery is stunning. Unlike many other places in Italy it is possible to walk along the promenade (only natural obstacles in some places). The site restaurant is also good classic Italian (it appears that locals also visit the place).

The kitchen in the glamping unit was a bit short on equipment. We managed, but a few more standard things would be appreciated.

Great during end of a season

We went during the last week before the season was over and were very lucky with the weather, hence had the swimming pool, kids entertainment almost exclusively for our family only. Great location to walk: nature and village. Also, great pizza at the restaurant at camping self.

the house we booked has a bathroom between the bedrooms, which is not so convenient, but it's really minor detail.

Wonderful stay in Italy, campsite clean and has everything you need for a lovely family break.

The location is beautiful. Right next to the lake with the mountains in the background. The campsite itself was very clean and tidy. Still looks new. The kids club was excellent and the staff were lovely. The pool area was very clean with lots of showers and toilets. The pool is quite small. We hired the chalet/house. It was very clean and fresh. The bedrooms were large and spacious. Kitchen was well equipped but no toaster or microwave. We were able to visited Milan, Verona, Lake Garda, Brescia and Venice Trains in Italy are amazing and Brescia has a fabulous station with great parking. Around 10 euros to park all day in a secure underground car park. Salo is the nearest town on Lake Garda and can be reached easily from the campsite. Stunning!

We went at the end of the season so lots of activities and restaurants were closed and the campsite was shutting down for the winter. The campsite is in a very small village/town with no supermarket or shops. The supermarket on site was very limited (might have been because it was the end of season). The nearest supermarket is 15 mins drive and is well equipped. It's a long drive to the campsite if you are thinking of visiting some of the major cities in Northern Italy. There was no Wifi in the house as its not in the main campsite grounds. One of the singles beds was missing a caster so its was lop sided. My husband found a brick and propped it up. No extra blankets on the beds and the heating is very very noisy. The double metal bed was just a bed frame around what looked like a double camp bed. It was uncomfortable and moved with every touch. Could have also done with some extra padding on the mattress and you could feel the springs. No toaster or microwave in the house. Also could do with an extra saucepan. Could have done with new towels half way through a week long stay.

Nice Glamping ground at Lake Idrio

Nice Place, not too big. Showers etc. were always clean. There is also a basic program to entertain children with daily events.

The charging for electric cars. It fits only for emergency usage as it is very very slow (<<5 KW) When you finish charging go immediately to the desk to check the amount you used. There is no automatic count for what you have used. This avoids surprises like getting charged for more than your battery capacity (I don‘t know how this could happen but it happened to me)

Poor value for money but good location

Great location next to the lake. Beds were very comfortable and the kids enjoyed the pool a lot.

We stayed in a bungalow with air conditioning. The below points are mainly an issue for us given that we payed nearly 300 euros per night, so it’s about value for money. - the shower was either lava hot or ice cold. our kids were both burnt and frozen in the 2 minutes they spent in the shower. - we were there for 6 nights and didn’t manage to get hold of a natural croissant. Either they were finished or not ready yet. We were always at the shop on time - between 8am 8.30am. - our bungalow was right opposite the pool and the restaurant, which made it extremely busy with lots of noises. The music doesn’t stop until 10pm. So don’t expect a peaceful stay. - in the chalets with airco it is only in the bathroom and bedrooms. The living area / kitchen which is situated in a tent and this gets extremely hot in the day. For us it was basically impossible to be there between 11am and 5pm.

Lovely and beautiful glamping

Very beautiful glamping site and the lake is lovely. Kind and helpful staff and delicious food at the restaurant. All in all, we would return to the glamping site.

We went start of july and the pool is too small comparred to the number of people on the site in holiday season. But the lake was nice so we often went there instead.

This kind of accommodation we had (tent for 4 with split level) is generally ok but the ladder to climb to the second level is a bit too steep. We were here the second time, so we liked everything else about it.

We rented a safari tent which was very spacious and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped and everything was super clean. It can get a little cold at night but the bed and the extra covers made it comfy and warm 😌. The location is simply fantastic especially for nature lovers. Lago d'idro is only few steps away which is surrounded by a wonderful mountain view. There is a restaurant and you can use the swimming pool and jacuzzi and the staff was very friendly so all in all this place deserves a 10 and we will certainly come back !!

Comfy and great location

Fantastic location, directly near the beautiful lake, the glamping has everything one needs, the houses are clean and comfy, there's a terrace for sitting outside, we had a great relaxed stay!

There's just one thing that can be improved in the houses, there are no electric sockets in the kitchen except one that's used by microwave, so not possible to plug in a kettle or coffee machine, one needs to use the extension cable for that (but then, plugging in the microwave itself at the same time is a problem). That's a very minor thing, but was an issue every morning :-)

nice camping. Brand new. Well maintained. Easy access to lake. Rental for kayak and windsurfing nearby. Pool is small but refreshing. Kids loved the slides. Some groceries on site. Very kind personnel on site.

Chalets are a bit close packed together. You have to make on your beds, they supply the sheets, but this always a bit of a downer A B-artist producing Dutch songs in the restaurant can be left out on my holidays, but may be appreciated by other people

Posizione comoda per raggiungere località di montagna. Proprio su un lago incantevole e tranquillo. Nel periodo di Natale poi il glamping è arredato a tema e questo lo rende ancora più suggestivo. È la seconda volta che vado al Glamping Idro e penso che tornerò ancora.
