This villa is very comfortable It is in amazing location and is the best value in Placencia for a private oceanfront villa with a pool It is very close to best dining and other upscale resorts in an exclusive section of Placencia just 5min away from Maya Beach. ** GETTING FROM INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT TO THE PROPERTY **. All international flights into and out of Belize are serviced through Philip S. P. Goldson International Airport (BZE), Travel by plane on a local commuter flight from the airport (BZE) to the Placencia Airstrip (PLJ), Flight time approximately 30 minutes Once in Placencia, our staff will pick you up and take you to the Villa Travel by private shuttle van from BZE where the driver will meet you outside of baggage claim My manager will work with you to book the shuttle van as soon as you have your international flight ready. - Option 3 is to rent a vehicle at BZE and drive down to the villa yourself There are numerous rental car agencies right across the parking lot from baggage claim including Hertz Avis and Crystal Car rental a larger local car rental company You would just need to go online to book and secure a vehicle prior to arrival. We will strive to make this your most memorable vacation experience and include the following amenities. My manager services to plan activities and transportation. We just returned from a wonderful week in Placencia, Belize. My wife and I have learned to love Belize, especially the Placencia and Maya Beach area. This trip we invited by brother and his wife and my sister and her husband. We stayed at the Rising Moon Villa just north of Maya Beach. The owner, Arthur, helped us through some booking issues due to his previous property manager and was an attentive and friendly host the entire week. There is nothing that he did not help arrange or provide that we needed.First of all, the location of the house is perfect. On the beach, close to the lagoon canals for easy access for our excursions and near to our favorite restaurants. There were three couples (all in our 60s) so three separate bedrooms was perfect. An each bedroom was spacious with comfortable beds and dedicated bathrooms. We had a private chef for a few nights so the full kitchen worked great for us. It had every appliance and device we needed and then some. The living space and the decks were incredible in morning and evening.Lastly, Arthur is an accomplished artist. The villa is filled with paintings, sculptures and other items that make it truly special and unique. Our only complaint is that we could not stay longer. We will be back. Highly recommended.

Arthur was a very welcoming and responsive host. Was great to have coffee and fresh fruit upon our arrival. The location was perfect for our needs. Being able to walk out to a big, beautiful back porch w/pool was worth every penny. And then just step to the private beach and water. Arthur helped facilitate organizing mangrove tour, snorkeling trip, and fishing trip, which all worked out perfectly. The tour guides picked us up right from the dock at the house. Great stay overall!

Beautiful palatial home with lots of privacy. Arthur is a wonderful host; response time was very quick to any questions we had. The added touch of local exotic fruits on our arrival was a comforting start to our vacation! Had everything we needed, to relax and come back to after exploring, even a little bar like area off the entrance with great mood lighting. Loved our time there. A memorable vacation!

This property/stay was just AMAZING from beginning to end! Arthur was truly awesome to work with and went above and beyond to mae our stay wonderful! He drove to his special spots to get fresh fruit for us!!! Who does that???!!!!!! And let me tell you how delicious it was!!!!!!! I enjoyed listening to his philosophy behind his choosing this property and why he designed the house the way he did! You can really see his heart and passion in it! The home is incredibly large and spacious! It sits right on the water and has a pool attached. The sitting areas throughout the exterior are amazing and I can’t decide which hammock I loved the most! The home had a nice feel/vibe to it! We saw a pelicans fly by every day along with numerous other birds! The beach is wonderful and the pool was great as well! The home has many unique features that make it special! Arthur gave us a lot of information about the area and was incredibly easy to work with. The house is located in a great area near restaurants, and not too far from the village of Placencia. We would definitely stay here again and really loved our trip!
