Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. Jemmett Lodge has air conditioning and is an ideal rural retreat for couples and small families looking for everything from outdoor countryside pursuits to coastal strolls.
Idyllically situated on a working farm with beautiful, far reaching views over the fields beyond, Jemmett Lodge has been beautifully furnished, and offers a peaceful holiday home. With picturesque walks right on the doorstep, there is also a locally renowned pub and restaurant just a short stroll along a pretty country lane. This is the perfect spot to unwind and an excellent location for exploring Kent.
Overlooking the large lawned garden, the cottage offers an abundance of outside space to enjoy during the warmer months, whilst inside a well-appointed, open plan living space has been equipped and furnished with your comfort in mind. For those that wish to explore picturesque Kent further, the coast can be reached within a 20-minute drive, with the pretty coastal town of Hythe and Dymchurch with its beautiful stretch of sandy beach nearby. For a trip further afield, Ashford International train station is just 15 minutes’ drive away and will take you to London in under 40 minutes, or why not go to France for the day on one of the many daily ferry services from Dover? Beach 9 miles. Shop ¾ mile, pub and restaurant ½ mile.

Nice place to stay but lacks a washing machine

We were very impressed with Jemmett Lodge. We got a superb welcome pack with coffee, tea, biscuits and even mince pies ! The owners were very friendly and helpful and it was an ideal place to stay for a couple, with great facilities. We would definitely recommend it!

A lovely little get away. Everything you could need is provided right down to tea coffee milk and goodies. Ideal for two older people as no stairs or climbing in baths. The added touch was the air conditioning. Netflix was ideal too. Fully recommend this cottage.
