About this villa rental
Encircled by lush flat lawns with incredible 360 degree views of mountains and forests, Palazzone is a grand stone villa with unique interior designs. There’s a beautiful shaded pergola with an outdoor lounge on the patio – the perfect place to gather for a delicious aperitif on a sunny day or watch the sunset with a sundowner. The historic village of Montefollonico is a few minutes’ drive from the villa, and Siena is ideally placed for day-trips. There’s even a Jacuzzi beside the infinity swimming pool which offers spectacular views of the hilltop town of Montepulciano and Monte Amiata.
The villa’s interior is a combination of classic Tuscan architecture combined with large, well-proportioned rooms and stylish, comfortable furniture. The central glass-covered atrium and adjacent loggia is a superb place to gather together and is beautifully lit at night. The kitchen is a particular highlight, with sleek surfaces and a wide array of appliances and an open, raised fireplace, ideal for barbecuing. The two lounges make the house especially adaptable for big groups, as does the cottage with two extra en-suite bedrooms and its own kitchen and lounge. For a group wanting to explore Tuscany at its most peaceful and unspoiled, Palazzone is an excellent choice. Bedroom 6 and its en-suite bathroom are both suitable for wheelchair users. Daily maid service is included in the price.

The location is great offering beautiful views of Montepulciano and the Val D’orcia. The owner went above and beyond to help us. The villa itself was spacious and elegant. Only wish we had booked 2 weeks!

We had the privilege to stay at this amazing Palazzone for a week with some of our best friends and our kids. The estate itself is beautiful, well equipped, and Nicola, the owner, is nothing short of wonderful.
The house is incredible, the pool is perfect for a warm summer day, and there was plenty of cooking equipment and accessories for us to enjoy many meals at home.
The location is fantastic. An hour from Siena, 35 minutes from Montalcino, 18 minutes from Montepulciano, And a short 10 minute drive from Pienza.
Would we rent again?! ABSOLUTELY.

Stayed for a week with my family of 4. The pictures of the property actually do not capture just how great the views are. At the top of hill rolling hills and Montepulciano in the distance. Closest town is Pienza which is not in the guide books but is more beautiful than any of the more famous towns in the area. Infinity pool is huge and very nice. Modern kitchen was top notch. They have a great sitting area to watch the sunset on the side of the house. Overall they did a great job bringing modern touches to old farmhouse. Beds were comfortable, check in/check out process super easy Nick was super nice and very helpful. Very well appointed comfortable place with a phenomenal pool and even more phenomenal views. Highly recommended!
