About this house rental
You will love this warm and spacious basement apartment. There is a private entrance through the garage where there is a designated parking spot for your car. In the garage there is ample room for skis, snowboards, bikes, and anything else needed.
Inside of the apartment you will find a spacious bedroom, laundry, full bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen and a warm and comfortable living space. There is a family hot tub that is available for your use.
There is everything you will need for a wonderful mountain experience.
Our mountain retreat is located at the base of Little Cottonwood Canyon, just 15 minutes from the world class skiing of Snowbird and Alta ski resorts. We are just 30 minutes from Big Cottonwood Canyon (Solitude and Brighton). We are within an hour of Park City. It is an easy30 minutes to the Airport and Salt Lake City. Parking is reasonable.

This was a very nice place to stay. It was very clean, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom clean and spacious and the kitchen was very nice. We were able to leave our skis and boots in garage and they even had boot dryers. It took us 20-14 minutes to get to Alta parking. There were dinner suggestions and they were good ones!I do want to mention that this is more like the other "home-owner is with you" set up as the owners are living upstairs and you are aware that they are there. There is no key to lock your area when you leave, which is unlike any VRBO I have stayed at and we have stayed at many. That being said, I did not feel like our things were unsafe while we were not there.

The property is in a nice quiet neighborhood within a couple of minutes to the entrance to little Cottonwood Canyon. Of course Alta and Snowbird ski areas are at the end if the canyon. Big Cottonwood with Solitude and Brighton is just another 5 minutes. The hostess is intimately familiar with all of the Salt Lake ski hills and will share her insights on prevailing conditions and appropriateness of terrain based on individual ability and preferences. That alone is worth a lot. Boot warmers are furnished right at the door. We skied 5 days. It was really nice to come back to garage parking and a comfy place to crash after an exhausting day in Utah’s legendary snow. Hot tip - Dinner at The Red Iguana in Slat Lake City. It is a 30 minute drive to the best mole we have ever experienced. Ask for a sample of each 8 varieties before choosing
