Agréable appartement proche Funiculaire

Great location, 7 minute walk in trainers to funicular. Same distance to Lidl and boulangerie. Michele the owner was very helpful, answered my questions before arrival and even visited when I had a problem with the hot water. Door key code was very convenient, much better than having to collect keys from a third party, especially as I was on foot.

Limited amount of hot water, as I was travelling alone this wasn't a problem for me, but a couple could struggle. If you are walking to or from Gare Routiere at night (for example) I would suggest taking a torch if you do not know your way around BSM as back streets are not well lit. In May last year (2025) large parts of the complex were burnt down, this didn't cause me any problems but I was surprised that given this history the flat did not have a smoke alarm or any sign of a sprinkler system or even fire extinguishers in the corridor or apartment.

Proximity to the funicular

No wifi. Access to the town as the direct route was fenced off due to construction work.

Location and view.

No access to ski locker room, basic kitchen, broken bed, no toilet paper.

Apartment warm, Comfortable beds, good pressure and hot water for shower. Host was responsive to issues and rectified them promptly. It is small as is typical for French holiday apartments but comfortable and perfectly adequate for 2 if you ski all day and just need somewhere to sleep, wash and do basic cooking. Lidl and funicular to Les Arcs both about 5 min walk.

€30 to hire bed linen and towels for 2 - sheets had holes, nothing matched and no dish towel provided. Kitchen crockery and utensils a bit random. Could do with some ambient lighting, induction hot plate and air fryer. For a small spend it could look and feel much nicer, but by the end of the week I had grown fond of it .
