This is the perfect family cottage that sleeps 14 no problem, and the house lives large - easily accommodating big families. Located at the end of a private cul-des-ac, sitting less than 15 steps from the water, and neighbored directly to the North by Minert Park and it's thousands of feet of undeveloped beach - you won't find a more private setting on Lake Michigan.
You also won't find a better place to sleep with the window cracked listening to the waves. The large deck has seating for 15+ with panoramic views that take a full morning coffee to appreciate.
We have a 7 night minimum and must be booked Monday to Monday. No RVs are permitted.

This house was absolutely wonderful! The view is gorgeous, the location perfect. There was even a bald eagle that hung out on the beach right in front of the house every morning! Everything was clean and I never had that feeling of needing to wash something before using it that I’ve experienced in other places. The owner was super responsive and helpful. Our entire family just loved it. We would love to rent this house again!

Stunning home on Lake Michigan. First home south of wildlife preserve, so very private location. Beautiful soft sand beach. Five bedrooms, two full baths (just redone!). Restaurants, art venues, shopping, all close by; day trips to Grand Rapids or Grand Haven are easy as well. We've stayed here twice, easily out most favorite Lake Michigan vacation home.

This cottage is one of the absolute best properties I've stayed at on Lake Michigan! Neighbors are to the south, but there is a wilderness preserve to the north, so the only neighbors on that side are the deer that come down to the beach every morning! The town of Montague is close, for grocery shopping and several restaurants. Muskegon is about 15 min away; Grand Haven is 30 min drive away. Area has many small businesses that are unique. The deck is large, with plenty of chairs and chaise longues. You will not regret this rental!

We felt like we were living on a boat for the week...right on the beautiful water!!! Had a FABULOUS week! The cottage has a wonderful old feeling, but modern amenities like AC and comfy beds!! The lake changes every day...one day calm waters, the next crashing waves!! You can walk quite a way on the beautiful sand beach, despite the high lake level. At night we were all able to lie back in the many deck chairs and watch the stars fall!!We can’t say enough about this incredible cottage!!! Thank you Emily!!!
