The accomodation was perfect - clean, spacy, with all needed equipment for family stay. Quiet neibourhoood. Located very near to the train station Bari Centrale and Lidl store.

The only negative feature was the fact that the host was asking for pre-payment of city tax online, a day before our arrival. It was not stated upfront anywhere, and only beacause I approached him for studio check-in details and keys, he wanted me to pay the tax via IBAN/Paypall. Very unpleasant, since it was the day before arrival and we were already travelling and this was not convinient at all. Not to mention he wanted double of what Booking have calculated as city tax. We paid as this was the only way to obtain the key PIN.

We really liked the location of the apartment. The apartment is very spacious and has two balconies. There is a fan in every room, which is very convenient. Just a small tip: don’t use more than two air conditioners at the same time, as it may trip the electricity. But it’s not a big problem – you can easily switch it back on on the ground floor. The apartment has everything you might need during your stay. There are also two bathrooms and a lift in the building.

I would suggest improving the communication with guests. If I hadn’t kept asking and messaging about the city tax, I’m not sure when I would have found out how and when to pay it. I recommend paying the city tax via PayPal as early as possible, so you can get in touch with the hosts on WhatsApp and receive the entrance code in good time. Also, if you message them and don’t get a quick response, don’t worry – they will reply, but it may take around 3–5 hours. In my case, I arrived at the airport and only received the check-in instructions just as I was boarding the plane, very close to the check-in time. A faster response and earlier check-in instructions would definitely improve the experience. Other than that, everything was good.

Plenty of space

Some amenities were not provided or in poor condition, especially in the kitchen. For example, we had not brewed or drunk morning coffee because we could not find ground coffee and the provided moka pot was very old, not clean and full of stain inside.

L’appartamento è chiaramente carente di manutenzione, i due bagni sono separati da una lastra in vetro opaco che separa la doccia: non c’è privacy se si usano contemporaneamente. Il piatto doccia dopo pochi istanti si intasa, e la cabina doccia in generale mancava di pulizia.Al water di uno dei due mancava il coperchio della tavoletta e la parte rimanente era del tutto instabile. La stanza da letto priva di parte di battiscopa e con i muri tutti segnati e sporchi.Il resto dell’appartamento non l’ho trovato per nulla accogliente.Veramente scadente lo stato conservativo.Lenzuola e asciugamani puliti ma il resto…e tutto questo a un prezzo non certo economico.
