About this apartment rental
Cozy one bedroom flat in the traditional Moorish neighborhood, the birth place of Fado. To step foot in Mouraria for the first time is to experience a subtle but immediate shift; a heightening of perception. This once forgotten district is an oasis of local life, which has become a rarity in Lisbon’s center. Here, the labyrinthine streets are teeming with history, evolving for all to
The medieval castle and Alfama neighborhood is only 500 meters away and Rossio, lisbon main square, is 500 meters away. The Martim Moniz metro station is really close, 2 minutes walk. Tram 28 passes at the door.

Amazing experience! The host left us a wonderful bottle of wine which we truly enjoyed. Will be recommending this spot to everyone visiting Lisboa!

This was a cozy spot in old town, clean and neat. We walked to the Sao Jorge castle, Commercial Plaza, Time Out market, Delerium Cafe and many more. The #28 tram can be picked up a short walk away. Great, convenient stay!

The hosts Miguel and Sophie left us some lovely treats to welcome us. Probably the only downside was the bathroom straight off the kitchen/ lounge. The famous tram 28 only 5 minutes walk away. Would definitely recommend this quirky apartment

If you’re looking for the Portuguese charm and people it is not apparent in this neighborhood - it is more like Bangladesh or India- there’s some decent restaurants nearby but not Portuguese.
The place itself was damp and smelled of mildew. View from the main “terrace” was a building and not street view….and if you’re leaving your window open at night you WILL NOT sleep. Way too noisy.
On the plus side we did get into the place early, before check in time, which was great after a long flight and owner seemed very nice in correspondence via WhatsApp. As well was walking distance to some of the sights but all this didn’t make up for actual apartment.
