Great location, Comfortable bed, Big shower area, lovely rooftop terrace, tasty food with awesome French fries, obliging hosts

Hot water was intermittent, depending on whether the wood boiler was on or not. There was little natural light in the room.

Clean room with a stunning rooftop view of the fort during meals, especially at night time. Food was made fresh by the friendly chef. Overall an excellent hotel for the price. 3 minute walk from the Fort entrance.

The location within the Fort, the View of the Rooms, the View from the Terrace and Terrace Restaurant. The rooms were well furnished and clean. Availability of Hot Water. The decorations inside the room has been EXCELLENT. The hotel took special care to guide how you get to the hotel from the place where Cars, SUVs are parked and from there one has to take autos to enter the FORT where Four Wheeler Cars, SUVs are not allowed and also cannot get in due to the old architecture of the Fort and narrow lanes inside the Fort. I think, they are doing very well in running such an heritage place hotel in the ICONIC SONAR KELLA.

The staff and the management needs to work on being more smart and professional to further develop their brand and service standards. They missed out of some relatively simple things which could have made the stay more comfortable - e.g., the Kettle for preparing Tea and providing tea/ coffee kits right at the beginning. All of these were provided when it was asked for promptly. Intention wise the staff is willing to go the extra mile. They can develop and offer more menu items by training their chefs and cooks other than the usual standard menus on which the food quality is quite good.
