Riverbank Cottage

Beautiful cottage, great outside area, lovely location set in a village, on the rivers edge and near a park too so ideal for children. It's only a matter of minutes from Scunthorpe retail park as well as a huge Tesco's and minutes from where our family live so it was a perfect location for us! Absolutely wonderful host! Lovely, kind lady, very helpful, welcoming and great with communication. Sara even boiled the kettle for us just before we arrived which was lovely! Overall we had an amazing stay, will definitely stay again and we highly recommend staying at Riverbank Cottage! Thank you so much Sara, we will see you again in a few months 😊

Sara met us at the time arranged and showed us in. Milk, tea, coffee and biscuits much appreciated after our journey. It is a perfect location with a lovely sheltered garden and amazing river views from upstairs. Homely, clean and comfortable with everything that we needed. Really enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Thank you Sara.

Location was great and view from second floor lounge was lovely. Quiet location for those seeking a rest or peace. Perfect for accessing all the area has to offer.host was very welcoming, warm and helpful.

Very tight drive small cars only. Parked on roadside. Furniture in parts were a little tired but homely though.

Room heating was timed controlled you can’t change it . Quite uncomfortable because heating was on when we are not in the building.
