498 Tarpon is a 2 story, Peaceful Pink Paradise with Large windows and sliding glass doors that provide unobstructed views of the Atlantic Ocean.
Open floor plan with 2nd story loft with private bathroom, sitting area, pull out sofa, and a deck for star gazing.
Situated on a large lot with plenty of space for parking and large garage area available for your parking needs as well.
Play on the beach all day, enjoy a outside shower on the deck, and then sit in the adirondack chairs while watching the sun set & dolphins swim by.

A few notes about the island - We are club members which means that the Club amenity cards are available for purchase.
***The Fripp Island Club requires amenity cards for you to frequent their amenities. These amenities include golfing, playing tennis, going to the restaurants on Fripp, going to the swimming pools and the fitness room.
The amenity card prices for stays that are 1-4 days are $35 during the summer months and $25 during Fall, Winter and Spring.
The amenity card prices for stays that are 5-8 days are $50 during the summer months and $35 during Fall, Winter and Spring.
If you do want to purchase the amenity cards, the resort will add an additional island fee of 13% to your rental to use their amenities. This will be added to your weekly stay at time of amenity card purchase.
Each guest 13 years or older must carry an amenity card to access the Club's facilities.
There are a few places on Fripp Island that you do not need an amenity card. SpringTide Market is at the front of the island that has a large menu at their deli. From breakfast sandwiches to family BBQ meals, there is a lot to choose from. There is also a deli at the Marina that serves sandwiches and salads. The Fripp Ship and Mango stores are fun to go into for your perfect souvenir. You do not need an amenity card for golf cart, kayak, bike, etc. rentals as there are an abundance of companies who offer rental services that will deliver to you.

We had an absolutely Magical time at the Pink Palace! The vibe from the moment we walked in just struck us! Everything from the layout to the furniture to the artwork. And that ocean VIEW…WOW! The sunrises and sunsets were spectacular! We had so much fun hanging out and meeting folks at “the point” and “Tootling” around in our golf cart (so graciously rented to us by the owner). And Jolene, our adorable, 5-year old Morkie, had the best time chasing crabs on the beach! We will definitely be back! The only reason I can’t give it a “Ten” is a problem with the AC unit (broken thermostat). Otherwise, BIG thumbs up! Jonathan and Aileen Pearlman (Asheville, NC)

The ocean view was spectacular! The house was comfortable and very clean upon arrival, and the major appliances worked (except the ice maker in frig), but the house was in need of much updating. The kitchen was not adequately supplied for making meals, but the host came through with much needed pans, dishes and glasses. There was no notification of service men coming which interrupted our privacy and activities. Renters need to be given notice, especially since one man was spraying for insects (we did not have time to vacate), and the other man from another company was unvaccinated (we did not let him in). Window shades did not work in most rooms and the sliding doors did not lock and one did not open. Loft toilet did not flush well and hall toilet was not attached to the floor. Not good for our disabled relative.. We worked around these issues, and had a sweet time, but we would not rent again due to all the problems that need to be addressed.
