Bungalow in Texel near National Park

Absolutely exceeded our expectations! The holiday home has everything we wanted and more - a private sauna while all the spas are closed, easy access to the forest/dunes/beach for daily walks, a full sized kitchen, plenty of space to spread out across the house and everything was incredibly clean and in great condition. We loved it so much, we had to extend our stay :)

Only complaint is that the shower in one of the bedrooms has a weird smell. When we contacted the hosts, they sent someone within 24 hours to try to fix the issue. Great service!

Location was excellent. The house was beautiful. Quite area. Spacious. There was also a baby cot.

Mattresses were not comfortable. One of the sinks was blocked. The tv remote was no where to be found. There was no internet instructions anywhere. The problem is Check in is late at 3PM and the office closes at 5PM so if you find problems after Check in you have to wait till the next day to reach someone. All rooms also had two single beds attached together which is not very comfortable. And the bathrooms had no doors which may be OK for some people but for us was super weird. Parking space is small and crowded and hard to get in and out when when full. there are fast car chargers that you can only use if you secure a card before arrival which takes a week. So if you don't plan for it or don't already have a card with evbox you won't be able to charge. No place near by to buy snacks etc. Finally since I booked I received over 20 emails from the property some with conflicting instructions. For example first an email asking me to make an additional payment then it turns out I don't have to pay. And also there are different companies managing this which makes it very confusing. I emailed one of the companies that emailed me instructions and they said I have to contact home owners, then when I did the email ID was bouncing back. And it took me a couple of days to manage to get instructions in English. Really overwhelming. Now let's be true, I will probably consider staying again but this is only luxury on the surface and they need to smooth out a lot of little issues.
