Absolutely perfect

This was an exceptional hotel. Oia is a beautiful place and the Pearl of Caldera has the most perfect location with stunning views of the volcanic islands, Fira, the sea, and back to Oia itself. We had a lovely cave room with our own hot tub. The air conditioning worked perfectly, the bathroom was lovely and the sheets and towels changed every day. We had everything we needed. Jola and the team were always on hand and helpful, but not intrusive. The breakfast was delicious. And the pool area was so cool with amazing views of the sea Santorini and the islands. They provided a member of the team to carry our suitcase from the taxi to the hotel which featured over 100 steps. I'd have keeled over if I'd tried to donut myself, and they organised a transfer with a great driver and a smart comfortable air conditioned car. It was the perfect r stay

The only minor issue is the steps to climb back up to Oia's main strip but climbing steps is a necessary part of being in Oia, and a price worth paying to stay somewhere as amazing as The Pearl of Caldera. It wouldn't suit anyone with mobility issues but it was fine for us.

The views of the caldera were breathtaking. The service was attentive and Jola was very helpful setting up transfers, tours, restaurant reservations. Breakfast was incredible and terrace views were second to none. The pool was a lovely place to relax and enjoy the best of Oia away from the busy city centre. The honeymoon suite was quite private.

Getting through the crowds of bussed in tourists was overwhelming at times and made for slow going getting to and from the hotel in the middle of the day, the price you pay for staying at a place in such close proximity to coveted views and photo ops!

Beautiful caldera view in a peaceful, quiet setting

The location was awesome (despite many steps to get there, but well worth it), and had the most gorgeous view. There were tourists lining up to get a similar view that we had privately at the hotel, which was pretty cool. Staff were really helpful and the free breakfast had a lot of options. We really enjoyed our stay here and it’s a perfect base for exploring the island.

While the pool and pool area were great, the bar didn’t seem open (or people just weren’t using it) and the music was repetitive (though this could easily be fixed with switching up the playlists more).

It was a once in a lifetime type of experience that we are so grateful for!

Absolutely everything! The location was incredible: The most perfect views of combined landscape and seascape, within short walking distance from the main streets of Oia, including restaurants, shops, and the bus station. The room was so beautiful - the cave-like structure was so cool, the views were amazing, and the bed was super comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. We greatly appreciated the personalized service of Jola, Fima, and the other staff: Thank you so so much for making our stay extra special!

Staying at Pearl of Caldera was an absolute dream! The rooms are immaculate, stylish, and so comfortable, making it easy to relax after exploring Santorini. Every morning, we were greeted by the most breathtaking sunrise views – truly magical and incredibly calming. The staff are warm, welcoming, and always ready to help, which made us feel completely at home. Breakfast was delicious and set the perfect tone for the day. Santorini itself is stunning, but staying here made the experience unforgettable. We left with full hearts, happy memories, and a strong desire to return!

Well located, well managed and an oasis in Oia.

Location was amazing, steps to the property right near the iconic domes shot but still very quiet and far enough away. Pool area was beautiful, breakfast was diverse and plentiful. We were upgraded to Room 10 from the basic rooms, bit more space and indoor spa was different to say the least. Views were amazing! Very comfortable room and management were amazing and very accommodating.

Nothing, would stay again there if ever back at Oia.

The perfect hotel to have the full Oia experience, especially thanks to the friendly staff.

We had a perfect stay at Pearl of Caldera, first of all the hotel is perfectly located so that you have a view on the entire caldera, but also on the city of Oia in a much quieter setting than the busy streets. But what makes this place so special is the staff that is incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Jola that made our stay truly special, gave us a lot of recommendations and even booked a table for us in a very nice restaurant.

That we didn’t spend more days there !

Dream location!!

Only one thing, (everything else was fantastic) Eating breakfast at your room, and not allowed to sit at the tables at the pool, which is in the shade. There is no umbrellas or shade in front of the room and the sun quite hot early in the morning.

The experience we had here was 10/10. Special shout out to Jola , Fimis, and the rest of the staff who go out of their way to make sure everything is exceptional. They are the best. This property is so beautiful and chic facing the famous Caldera view. The sunsets can be seen from the entire property and you don’t have to leave the hotel to the join the crowds. The pool/ terrace on the top floor is so nice and clean and we barely left during the day. The food and the endless breakfast options they have is very tasty and well made. My favorite was the scrambled eggs, sausage pies and the beautiful fresh fruit. Rooms have nespresso pods and machines .

It is 100 steps up to the main area of Oia- twice a day up and back gives you a workout which can be a benefit ofcourse!

Everything is just perfect. The location and the view are stunning. Room is cozy and has everything you need. The breakfast is delicious and fulfilling. Calm, beautiful, relaxing, serene, and charming.

The property was beautiful and clean. The caldera view was just amazing. The location was perfect as it was right in the middle of the town but far enough down the cliff side so that it was quiet. I love that there is a service for baggage going both up and down to the property. The pool was perfectly heated as were the personal hot tubs. Yola, the manager, was on point with everything she did and made our entire stay 1000x better. She was wonderful to talk to and personalized our start to make it extremely memorable.

Relaxing, luxurious and inviting.

Pearl of Caldera was so beautiful, from the cave rooms to the stunning view - it felt like the ultimate Santorini experience. We enjoyed being able to relax by the pool during the day with breath taking views. Breakfast each morning was amazing! The people who managed and worked at the property were wonderful, always helpful and gracious. The location couldn’t have been better as we had breathtaking views of the abeam sea and Santorini landscape. The food was wonderful especially the Shrimp .

The only thing that would have made our stay better would be an additional language rack/valet in our room.

This was for our honeymoon and although an expensive hotel, it had a hot tub, excellent caldera views and good breakfast. Loved this hotel.

I have never felt so taken care of at a hotel before. These people are great at their jobs!

In addition to being located in the perfect spot in Oia, with gorgeous 180 degree views, and quaint and lovely rooms, the food and drink offerings were exceptional as well. The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. I truly believe we have made friends for life.

There is nothing to say against the hotel. Just be aware that there are many steps up and down, so avail yourself of the extremely reasonable fee of €10 per bag for someone to carry your bag for you.

I got robbed, and I try to inquire several times with no avail bookingline.com stole my money they never paid them and I had to pay when I got there again and I’m still looking into it and trying to get it back keep getting multiple runarounds between priceline.com and Booking.com

Exceptional

The staff were incredibly attentive, accommodating, friendly and dependable. The room was clean, spacious and quaint. It’s a traditional cave house. The facilities are great. The pool overlooks the coast and the private pools in some of the suites are warm all day and night. Simply breathtaking.

While the property and staff are amazing, the long hike to climb the stairs up and down to the property is not for everyone.

Stunning, romantic, relaxing, high end accommodations in the most beautiful village on Santorini, Oia.

Wonderful location in Oia with incredible views of Caldera. Lots of steps from main square however still close by and right by famous “three blue domes” spot. The staff were super accommodating and friendly- they arranged a fabulous table at their sister hotel in Imerovigli with gorgeous sunset views. Facilities at the hotel are outstanding- private, spotless, comfortable accommodation. Beautiful shared pool and terrace area, again with caldera views. Breakfast was excellent.

We had an early check out on our final night & breakfast isn’t served until 9am. It would have been nice to have access to breakfast before we left.

Horrible

The location should have been clearly explained to all guests that to reach your hotel you must go down 145 steps, and you must travel these steps at each time. The rooms are extremely small and you would not have any place to keep your luggage on.

Showers, with plugged drain. No ventilation in the shower. No extra supplies of bottled water. Either take the 145 steps up to buy one, or pay an exuberant price for a bottle of water.

Very good

The location and the view are great-- you can see both the sunrise and sunset from the hotel. Staffs were very accommodating with the airport shuttle when we had our flight time changed. We loved the outdoor hot tub and the pool that we actually spent more time in the hotel than exploring outside.

There were insects in the tub and the room but I think that really was unavoidable given the location. They tried their best to keep the place clean though.
