Superb Stokesby Barn Apartment - Norfolk Broads & Norwich

The location was excellent (and an easy, pretty walk to the pub!); the sofa was really comfortable - as was the bed - and the kitchen facilities were all you could want. The photos don't do the space justice - it's much larger than it looks. Everything was extremely clean, and the shower was powerful with a large cubicle. It was lovely to open the full-length balcony door and watch the birds during the day and the stars at night. And we heard owls! There were plenty of walks from the door and lots of activities and places close by that you could get to by car. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Quiet pretty location . Short walk to pub on river serving good food

Hosts were friendly and knowledgeable about the area but also you didn’t know they were there unless you needed them. Spacious, comfortable, clean loft apartment. All modern facilities, king size bed very comfy, big shower and bathroom, large television if you need it. Location was perfect surrounded by farmland. 15 mins walk to pub and food. Wake up in the morning to find deer and hares in the garden, ideal if you are into wildlife, even saw a fox on way to pub. Easy safe parking at the property. Can’t wait to return!

Nothing!!! First time we’ve gone aboard found nothing to complain about 😁

We liked the location and the outlook from the apartment was pretty with plenty of birds and even a deer. The area around the property is scenic and there are plenty of places to visit within easy reach.

We were surprised and disappointed to find that the accommodation is a studio with everything in one room with a small, separate shower room. We also had to go upstairs as the studio is above a double garage - this may be difficult for some guests. Really the accommodation is just a space above the garage; the roof is sloping which we found difficult, particularly in the shower room, as we are both quite tall. The towels available were rigid and scratchy, also very thin. We were put off by the rather officious notes taped on furniture etc giving various instructions about what not to do. It made us feel a little unwelcome. The toaster, for example, was in a drawer, so we felt as if it was preferred that we didn't use it. The bed is quite hard and quite old, likewise the sofa all of which we felt smelt rather stale.
