Moon Wonders Vacation House

Wir mussten uns sehr kurzfristig nach einer anderen Unterkunft umschauen und haben durch Zufall noch diese Unterkunft bekommen. Innerhalb von wenigen Minuten wurde für uns der Check-In vorbereitet. Die Frühstücksoptionen sind gut - auch für veganer geeignet. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Wir waren super zufrieden. Auch das Haus ist sehr schön eingerichtet und mindestens so gut, wie auf den Bildern.

The Moon Wonders House is a fun place to stay. The back deck is a very private and interesting place to hangout. The kitchen had all of the things that one needs to prepare meals including an oven/range, coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator, toaster oven and many quality pots, pans and utensils. The beds were comfortable and the house was very clean. The location is a good one in the Santa Elena area as you are close to the main arterial road but far enough away that there is no road noise. The location of the property feels very secluded. The design of the house was fascinating--really interesting and fun. Our host was also very helpful and responsive even greeting us just after we arrived! One of our favorite activities was to sit out on the back deck and observe wildlife. We identified many bird species and saw a troop of white-faced monkeys three times. There is a walking trail around the perimeter of the property that is well kept. There is also a park for hanging out and playing on equipment.

I cannot think of any suggestions for improvements

Amazing unique building inside forest. Fantastic views and terrace with live animals. Clean and spacious rooms. Daniela was very friendly, responsive, and helpful host who also arranged trips. Breakfast available. Great private and quiet location from walking distance to town center.

Self made theme chairs were uncomfortable. Nights were bit cold when hard wind hit inside. No AC. Front door lacks lighting.

The Moon House is not conventional which is the best thing about it. There are no straight walls and everything is unique and quirky. Set in the forest there is wildlife all around you and it is very peaceful. The house is super comfortable with everything you will need and close to all the tourism opportunities in Monteverde.
