    The hotel is within walking distance of the Old Museum, and there are many restaurants and shops nearby. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is decent.

    I stayed in the private room. The room and all the items inside the room including bedsheet, towels and bathroom is very clean. This accommodation is the most I like in Egypt during my stay for 2 weeks in Cairo and other cities. Good location and safe to walk around during day and night time alone. The atmosphere inside the hostel is good. The common area and the shared bathrooms are also very clean at all time. The staff there is very nice and supportive. The breakfast is good and you can also use the kitchen to cook your own food. There are a good pizza and Lebanese restaurant around Madina, 5-7 mins walk. Busy area with several shops and restaurants is reachable about 10 mins walk and good to go at night time with less heat. Easy to access another part of the city across Nile river by uber if you want to explore more. The WiFi is good. At first, I booked for one night only then with these positive points, extended 2 more days and enjoyed my stay there.

    The hostel itself was fine, but the main issue is that it’s located on the 10th floor and the elevator is extremely unsafe. It has no inner door, and it starts moving the moment the outer door latches, so you have to pull your hand away quickly to avoid it being caught. This made us very uncomfortable. They offer a small breakfast, and the location is convenient — but for the price, it felt expensive. Unfortunately, we wouldn’t stay again because of the elevator risk. For safety reasons, I’d recommend choosing accommodation in buildings no higher than three or four floors, as relying on a lift like this would be very difficult in an emergency.
