Local Beach Phu Quoc

Ein Familienbetrieb mit einzelnen Bungalows. Nah am Wasser aber ohne klassischem Strand. Sehr familiär, mit entsprechender Lautstärke. Die Besitzerin war sehr freundlich und hat sich gut um mich gekümmert.

Nicht alle Fotos auf der Webseite entsprachen der Realität. Ansonsten muss jeder selbst entscheiden. Homestay hat seinen Charm, ist nur nicht für jeden geeignet.

Nous sommes 3 amis venus à Phu Quoc pour se ressourcer un peu dans la nature, et ce logement a été notre meilleur choix. Certes il est a l’autre bout de l'île, mais c’est ce qui rend l'expérience encore plus agréable. Loin de la ville et de la plupart de ses constructions artificielles, vous trouverez un vrai bout de nature cachée avec les pieds dans l’eau. Nous y sommes allés début juin, donc les conditions météo n'étaient pas les plus optimales, les plages et la mer étaient assez sales, mais cela ne nous a pas empêché de nous amuser. Le personnel est comme je l’avais entendu, très accueillant, à notre service à toutes heures et très hospitalier. Nous nous sommes retrouvé un soir sans rien a manger et ils ont accepté de nous faire a manger sans rien dire et sans nous le facturer, Merci beaucoup ! Pour ce qui est du logement en lui-même, nous avions pris un bungalow vue jardin et une cabane vue mer. Avec les conditions que nous avons eu, je vous conseille de prendre le bungalow pour plus de confort car avec la pluie et le sable c’est assez compliqué dans la cabane. Mais simplement si vous souhaitez plus de confort, le bungalow reste optimal car il a la clim, de plus, si vous ne souhaitez pas prendre votre douche avec des grenouilles ou en rencontrez lorsque vous allez aux toilettes, cela reste la meilleure option. Le fait de ne pas avoir la vue mer ne change pas beaucoup car vous y avez accès toute la journée par le jardin et c’est littéralement à 2 pas. Si la situation géographique vous pose problème pour les activités, les propriétaires louent des scooters à 150 000 dong la journée, idéal pour explorer l'île comme il vous plaît. C'est à vous de leur demander, ils ne demandent pas de permis mais c'est très simple d’utilisation, je n'avais jamais conduit et ça c'est très bien passé malgré ma petite taille.

Manque de confort, douches et toilettes à l'extérieur un peu sales.

The seafront location is very nice. I stayed six nights, every day I felt more and more bad vibes. The bungalow is made of straw and wood. Due to the way it is built, insects (ants, mosquitoes, geckos, etc.) can enter from anywhere, even from the floor (see photos 1). More than once I found feces in the bed that I think were gecko feces. The net placed on the bed to keep insects out while you sleep is not enough, insects will enter during the night. The bungalows do not all have the same insect netting (see photo 2). At Local Beach Phu Quoc there is only one sink to wash your teeth, your hands after going to the bathroom or your face in the morning. It does not work. There is no water and no drain pipe. Instead of a sink you can use a water pipe that comes out of the ground behind the bungalow (see photo 3); you will brush your teeth there and spit the toothpaste directly on the ground. If it rains there is no common place to eat indoors and the area in front of the bungalow floods (see photo 4). You will eat inside the bungalow and with the food even more insects will come inside the bungalow. I think these things should be written on booking in the bungalow description because for me it wasn't a problem, but for many other people it could be. For the reasons stated above I consider the asking price for the bungalow (350,000 Dong per night) too high for the service offered. If you intend to rent a scooter at "Local Beach Phu Quoc" please specify whether the rental price requested is for 24 hours from the time the rental begins as is customary in Vietnam (for example from 11am today to 11am tomorrow) or for today (for example from 11am today to 12pm today). In general, I recommend that you always explain everything clearly to avoid misunderstandings that are always "coincidentally" unfavorable to you economically.
