A one bedroom first floor apartment with a poolside balcony and covered terrace situated just a few minutes walk to the seafront and main beach in kato paphos.
In a great location the apartment is in a small gated complex with a large variety of restaurants, tavernas, bars and shops within a stones throw away.
From the apartment the harbour area is an easy 15 minutes stroll away either along the picturesque coastal path or Poseidonos Avenue passing shops, restaurants and tavernas along the way.
The space
A new listing for 2018, recently redecorated with bright and modern furnishings Olympian pool view apartment is a great place to enjoy your stay in paphos.
The apartment has oversize ceiling fans in both the lounge and bedroom as well as a wall mounted fan in the bathroom combined with shutters and retractable sun awnings to help remain cool throughout the hottest summer months.
For guest comfort however, new highly efficient air conditioning has been installed in the lounge/kitchen area and bedroom for those that are used to much colder climates (air conditioning is generally not a requirement until mid June through to mid September when it gets very hot).
The lounge is equipped with a modern sofa as well as a comfortable patchwork chair, a 40 inch flat screen tv with android box and fast wireless internet is also available.
The bright colourful kitchen has modern appliances and is fully equipped with all manner of cooking essentials.
The bedroom which has sliding patio doors to the front covered terrace has a king size bed, dimmable lighting, stylish glass dressing shelving with mirror, double built in wardrobes providing ample hanging space shelving and drawers.
The bathroom is equipped with bath with overhead shower, wc, his and hers sink units with storage drawers below and illuminated vanity mirror with further storage behind.
The external areas are a great feature of the apartment with a front terrace furnished in a traditional Cypriot style with a covered pergola, granite table, taverna style chairs and Greek columns with plants sitting atop. This provides welcome shade from the heat of the sun in the summer months but also enables al fresco dining in the winter season on those rare days with rain showers. The poolside balcony has a marble table with seating for 2 and also features a retractable sun awning.
The location is excellent with the seafront and main beach in kato paphos just a few minutes walk away, a large variety of all types of restaurants, bars and shops within moments and pafos harbour an easy 15 minute level stroll away.
*** Please be aware the complex is mainly residential with just a handful of holiday apartments. Neighbours are friendly but it is generally quiet and unlike hotel apartments that have manicured gardens and grounds. To most guests this is a bonus often having the pool to themselves, but be aware that you will see washing hung out to dry (not around the pool area) storage on balconies and gardens and other such things associated with residential apartments ***.
*** The apartment is NOT located in the very large area of new apartments, townhouses and villas known as Universal which is inland either a long walk or car/bus journey away from the seafront, harbour, restaurants and amenities. This well-equipped apartment is exactly as described - if anything a little larger than anticipated, all laid out and equipped to a high standard, constant hot water and ways to heat / cool the apartment depending on your need, makes the stay a relaxing one. The outdoor balconies and spaces are a bonus to relax in.The complex itself is great with shops, an excellent coffee shop and fantastic restaurants all within 5 minutes walk. We found the complex to be quiet and all the locals to be friendly and engaging. The walk to the seafront is less than 5 mins and you can walk to several beaches and into the harbour (about 15 mins stroll) from this point.We hired a car after arriving (unplanned) and Simon made it easy for us to access the secure carpark. The apartment has lots of information about the immediate (and surrounding) area which is also super helpful for anyone who is there for the first time.Approximately 15 mins from the airport, this really is a perfect base to explore Pahos from and we will definately look to rebook if we return to Paphos!!

Der Vermieter Simone Hicks hat mich sehr liebenswert, dazu auch mit kleinen Präsenten, empfangen. Ich fühlte mich auf den ersten Blick schon wie zuhause. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und alles was man so benötigt ist vorhanden. Es fehlte mir wirklich an nichts. Die Wohnung ist sehr zentral gelegen, eine Bushaltestelle befindet sich direkt vor dem Wohnblock. Zu Fuss ist man in zehn Minuten bereits am Strand und kann die Meeresaussicht und die Ruhe geniessen. Ich war für zwei Wochen bis zum 20. Oktober 2018 in Paphos und das Wetter war herrlich, immer Sonnenschein bis zu 30° Celsius warm. Was will man mehr?

Denna lägenhet i Olympian complex var mycket fräsch, trivsam och välutrustad. Vi uppskattade särskilt att både ha balkong mot innergården och pool med skugga eftermiddag och kväll och en terrass med utsikt mot stora träd med morgonskugga.Det var mycket varmt under vår vistelse. Från köksfönstret såg man havet, så det var nära. Bara drygt 5 min promenad till bra stränder. Flera minimarkets i området. Alldeles utanför bostadsområdet stannade flera bussar med täta avgångar, t.ex. mot hamnen i Pafos, mot flygplatsen m.fl. Vår värd Simon var mycket trevlig, hjälpsam och mån om att vi skulle ha det bra.
Staden Pafos var trevlig med mycket sevärdheter, fr.a. från romartiden, såsom golvmosaiker, teatrar, kungagravar mm. Med buss var det också lätt att ta sig ut i omgivningarna till fina stränder, kyrkor och kloster.
Vi kan rekommendera detta boende.
