Lake Shore Farm Inn

This is a beautiful place....they have a hammock, fire pit,...and a beach that is just perfect for summer days. They also have beach towels if you want to swim *dock is there) and kayaks to borrow. Yes, there was no one there to greet me...but so what? I called, she came. It's a Mother and Son *I think* that run the place. They are busy so why should they have to sit behind the desk waiting? Other places don't have people behind the desk either. All those complaining...pay the 300 or more a night and get your arrival greeting. The room was cute...and had a shared balcony that looked at the backyard and lake. I had an ac and there was a fan up in the closet as well. The bathroom is small but I could close the door and it was ffine. The sink is out in the room. The tv is a Roko ...you can put your streaming info in to watch your stuff or just use the free programs...there was plenty on there to watch. The bed....that was the best. So comfortable, from the pillows to the linens and the bed itself. They even offered earplugs; I lost one somehow and had to use the other pack. But I thought that was really nice. I had a good time and am telling my work I want to be booked there again. There IS an ice machine...it's down in the Game Room....and yeah. A game room with a pool table and all. Nice!

I have no complaints. It was a lovely stay. Thank you for your hospitality.

We were welcomed by Marian, very graciously, even though we were early. The check in was easy, the room was ready, the view was delightful.

We liked it all. My son lives nearby and being able to stay at the farm was fabulous.

Location was great! Sits on a lake and our room had a balcony with lake view. Absolutely loved everything about it.

Really nothing I can think of that my wife and I didn’t like.

Property is on a beautiful lot of land on a nice lake. The property is well maintained and nice touches for the amenities. Loved the game room option and also the playground for the kids is a plus if you have children. Nice family run inn with no complaints. The history of the inn dates way back and it’s nice to see they are preserving a piece of history

The room was cleaned, though bathroom light did not work 100 % and lacked a cover. The room linens are older but comfortable. It is so loud at night with people banging the doors and stomping their feet. I know that the inn can not do anything really about the noise but people should be aware that this can be the reality of this inn.
