Explanation of the history of the home. The beauty of the home and the antiques everywhere. The delicious breakfast and the kindness in serving. The private bathroom. The hot water way up there at the top in no time flat.
No one to meet us when we arrived. However we got that figured out in a bit where we were to stay.
Dragging out heavy suitcase up two flights of stairs. My husband is pretty handicapped, so I did it at age 82. Ouch.
Waking up cold and looking for an extra blanket. No one was staying opposite bedroom so I took the spread off that bed then made the bed up the best I could the next morning.
