Urban Stripes Athens

I didn't opt for the breakfast. This property is in a fantastic location. 5-7 min walk to Acropolis and the main promenade. Tons of cafes and grocery stores around and yet a lived in neighbourhood feel - not touristy. Ilias was really wonderful and helpful. Check in was easy and smooth. The room has plenty of light; a little cute balcony. The ergonomics and design are really cool - the way the space is utilized. Lovely tea coffee (I was specially happy with sencha green tea as most places dont have green tea) and a little fridge. The bed is fantastic and large. The bathroom is very spacious. This is a STUDIO. Booking.com describe a living room misleading me into thinking it was a 1 bedroom apartment. But that is because of Booking not Urban Stripes. I would come here again.

The extra bed that I asked for because I was with a friend ... not comfortable at all. But if you are alone or a couple this is fab as the main bed and mattress and pilows and comforter are all great.

Perfectly located within walking distance of the Acropolis but also not in a super touristy area. Surrounded by local cafe, shops and restaurants we really enjoyed visiting the local area.

Everything. The welcome on arrival and booking a taxi to the airport the next day occurred smoothly. The view of the Parthenon from our apartment during the day and extra special at night - well lit up, a must if you've never visited Athens. Close to restaurants, shops, cafes and all modes of transport whether it's public or if you prefer renting a car.

I wish we could have stayed more :) !!! Honestly, there wasn't anything we didn't like about this apartment.
