Great location and friendly staff

Very spacious and close to the main attractions, easy check in and check out process. Transport to the apartment was very kindly organised by the staff and great if you arrive at night.

The apartment itself doesn't have proper sound insulation so you will hear cars outside and people in the stairwell.

Walking distance to acropolis, close to good restaurants. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Big room space.

The room we get does not have the view for the acropolis, the photos are misleading.

Stress free living, comfortable, clean, spacious and cool.

Location was pleasant with easy access to archeological sites by foot. A 20 minute walk around the area is all you need to keep yourself entertained.

Facilities don’t offer parking although there’s a parking spot in front of the entrance that you can use temporarily to drop off your belongings, I was lucky someone was leaving right in front once I finished unloading 😆

Great experience in the centre of Athens

Great location to stay in Athens. Very spacious and well decorated apartment with two balconies one with a little view on the acropolis. The location is perfect to visit by feet the city centre. Very comfortable bed and wide dressing in the upper mezzanine floor. Fully equipped kitchen and living room and two toilets. Very well insulated and quiet. I recommend

Wonderful Stay in Athens

The apartment was beautifully appointed and very spacious for our family of five. Our host, Marina, was super kind and helpful. She provided our wonderful breakfast boxes the day before due to our early morning departure and even gave us a complimentary bottle of wine which we enjoyed upon arrival! I The location was perfect, walkable to everything. I wish we could have stayed longer!

Brilliant and friendly!

Everything was ideal for us. The room was big, modern, spotless and had everything we needed, good shower, facilities etc. The location was perfect as well, it’s marginally outside the very touristy area which gives it a relaxed vibe and access to smaller less commercial bars and restaurants as well as supermarkets etc. That said, it’s less than five minutes from the Acropolis and main shopping area. The area also felt very safe during the day and night, and was always busy. Very close to the metro as well. Finally, Alex could not have been more helpful. He went above and beyond in every regard and provided an exceptional service, for which he deserves huge credit.

Great place with lots of space and wonderful location, managed by excellent staff

Modern, ample and efficient loft suite. Beautiful unit and great location, walking distance to main attractions. Marina (host) was excellent, courteous, very professional and took great care of us.

It could use a couple of needed accessories such as handrail for the stairs, towel hangers at the shower stall and a TV set at the bedroom.

Beautiful studio apartment with a nice view!

The location was really great, very close to the Acropolis, restaurants and a grocery store. We had a great view of the Acropolis from our room! The room is very spacious and modern. The bathroom was also a nice size. Marina, who manages the property is very friendly and helpful. There is an elevator which we appreciated since we had luggage.

Parking is a huge issue. I don't feel that Urban Stripes should say there is parking near because that isn't really true. We found a parking garage on our own (which ended up being one that they suggest) but in the end, we were ripped off by the garage owner.

Totally exceeded our expectations!

This property has an amazing view of the acropolis from the balcony and living room. It is very large, clean and well equipped with 2 bathrooms, plenty of storage, washing machine, full kitchen and a beautiful wine rack full of wine that you can buy. There is a great guide explaining each wine too. Check in was great, the lady was so friendly and helpful. The neighbourhood is perfect - our favourite one of those close to the acropolis. You can easily walk to everywhere, the acropolis museum is 5 mins away, alongside the metro and a great stroll into plaka. The actual neighbourhood had a really great vibe - very much lived in by Athenians with great bakeries, clean supermarkets, plenty of restaurants and delicious fresh fruit juice makers all 1 minute walk from the front door.

We couldn’t get the hot water working despite following instructions but it was so hot we were ok with cold showers. We didn’t contact reception who I’m sure would have sorted it.

A fantastic apartment, close to the Acropolis and all the other major attractions

A lovely clean apartment with a view up to the Acropolis. Now, it is by far an unrestricted view but at least you can see it unlike other properties claiming to have a view. The bed was super comfortable and huge! And the staff at reception where on hand to help us with any queries we had, giving good advice on what to do. I would have no hesitation in recommending the Urban Stripes to anyone at all
