ALBERGUE ALOXA HOSTEL

Please was a hostel. Great staff, clean, good kitchen, close to the train station and restaurants.

Beds were lumpy, not enough outlets in the common area,

Great location just off the camino. Excellent kitchen. 8 bed dorms that were light n airy. Lockers and curtains.

Convenient, clean, very well organized. Enough facilities for everyone- did not have to wait for anything.

Need paper towels or dish towel in kitchen area. A few garbage/recycling containers were overflowing by morning; if this is common it would be fairly easy to just have a couple of extra ones, would make the clean up easier for staff too.

They made travelers keep shoes in a different room

The host had the worst penmanship imaginable. When he wrote the gate code it wa unreadable. His 1 looked like a zero, his 2 looked like a 7. Some people could not get in late at night with the gate code he gave out. He wrote the Wi-Fi code on a chalk board using a mix of upper case cursive and lower case block letters. What was supposed to be a lower case f looked like a capital L and similar. Many people were complaining they could no connect. Simple solution -type out the gate code and Wi-Fi code on paper instead of writing it on paper for the guests. Get rid of the chalk board you write the Wi-Fi code on. Also no towels no sheets no soap. That could have been provided. At least soap.
