Amazing! In 6 weeks of camino travel in Spain, this tops the list. A warm welcome, pristine room and facilities. Fantastic quiet central aircon, choose your own access code, no keys, incredibly comfy bed, pillows, top quality sheets, shoedrier, beautiful toileteries, beer and water in fridge. Quiet little street in historic centre. Julio and his mother are the best hosts. Gave us great recommendations for local restaurants. Delicious bfast with freshly cooked eggs, home-based Santiago tart, meats, cheese, yoghurt etc...E 102 for 2 all up.

Really great hostel that feels more like a hotel. Free laundry (washer, dryer, clothes line) and lockers. Breakfast was amazing - fresh scrambled eggs, orange juice, sourdough toast, and more. Starts at 6:30am too, perfect for a Camino day. Julio is very proactive and was an excellent host!
