You will be so comfortable at this 2 bedroom ground floor condo in Keauhou. A view of the ocean across the beautiful Keauhou Country Club Golf Course from the large living area, master bedroom and spacious covered lanai with it's own little garden area.
Country Club Villas has tennis courts, several swimming pools (one right near this unit) and free assigned parking for one.

***In order to access this unit there are 2 small flights of stairs. The parking lot and walkways fall on the 2nd floor level of Country Club Villas***
This condo has had a renovation including the kitchen, both baths, flooring and décor. You'll find everything you need from coffee grinder to hair dryer to surf/boogie boards!
Convenient location near the Keauhou Shopping center which has a grocery store, Longs Drug Store, several eateries, bookstore, a movie theatre and the Kalona beauty spa/salon. About 5 miles from Kona town where of course you can have your choice of many activities, seasonal festivities, restaurants, nightclubs and more. La Aloha (aka Magic Sands) Beach Park and Kahalu'u Beach park are not far away.
Use this lovely home away from home for your "home base" while you explore all that the Big Island has to offer from enchanting waterfall hikes, horseback riding, helicopter and fixed wing tours, ziplines, the changes at Volcano National Park, sailing, snorkeling and diving and..........well, the list is nearly endless.

Unit is ideally located for snorkeling on your own or with tours. The front door is a nightmare to open and is unable to open all the way. No handle on oven and in general the unit needs maintenance. Very quiet location and the pool is nice and the whole complex is very clean. Tennis courts and pool are super close.

The unit was easy to find once I followed the instructions correctly. The key in the lock box is a little off as the cut is a little off (had this happen at home too so...)
The front door was a little difficult to open. But a little sanding would fix that. The unit was bright, clean and had all kinds of kitchen accessories. The slider in the living room was extremely difficult to open but management came over and got it to open much easier. Loved the showers, the deck and the view was nice too.
The one issue I had with the place was that there were termites in the kitchen area. I know we are in Hawaii and there are bugs...I've lived on the islands before and you cannot escape them. Management stated that exterminators would be there after we left so I am hoping that got that resolved for future guests. I saw two small cockroaches in 10 days...but that was it! We had two small geckos in the house that were hopefully taking care of them!
As long as the termite issue is addressed I would not hesitate to rent this unit again.
